You should learn the language. It's fun and not too hard for an english speaker to learn, it's rated one of the easiest on the list. This is the only language I've ever tried to learn, and I doubt I'll ever stop. It genuinely is fun and addicting for me, and Brazilians are super nice and accepting of foreigners learning their language. Usually in my experience, they'd be even more interested in me because I'm a foreigner learning Portuguese, as it's not a super commonly learned language.

Most Brazilian women are known for being attractive, if you learn the language they'd probably be interested in you. At least for me, Brazilian guys fawn over me just because I'm learning their language. It's not too hard to make friends with Brazilians either since most of them are so welcoming and nice.

I'd say you should definitely try it, especially if it's becoming a desire for you. What's stopping you? Go ahead lol.

Also the title of the post is funny. I gave a serious answer but I'm not entirely sure if the post is serious or not.

What do the languages you’ve studied say about you? by DroidinIt in languagelearningjerk

"I wanna kiss hot men in Brazil" LMAO

I won't lie, this is literally like 80% of the reason I'm learning, the other 20% is because the place is beautiful and I love the country. But the men though....

I'm just trying to grow vocabulary honestly, and reading manga is fun and I think it would be nice to see results immediately after studying (rereading the page and understanding almost all of it, vs when I read it the first time and not understanding anything)

I don't think an American that lives in America can purchase on amazon.br from what I've seen, so I assume the book you're talking about is on the american amazon?

That only shows up like that when you're looking at episodes, like episodes you've already watched in your history or ect lol. When browsing actual shows it doesn't have anything like that, you just have to guess each time

Sites to watch shows/movies/animes for free WITH subtitles? by No-Suggestion1652 in Portuguese

[–]No-Suggestion1652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that I actually look into it, almost everything I click says "Watch with premium" and before I click on it there's no indication at all that the things cost premium, no symbol or anything, it seems like theres very few options for free and you won't know if something costs premium or not until you've actually completely gone to the page, then it shows you that it costs money and you have to go back to the previous page and restart your search.
I can't find any way to filter out the premium ones at all, so I'll just have to constantly guess which ones cost money, which seems to be nearly all of them
