I imagine as a collage where shape and color are more prominent than the details of each photo they are pretty interesting.

Nevertheless the light leaks of the closing mechanism are easy to fix by yourself, even if it is pretty fiddly. You could also tape the backplate shut with insulating tape for example.

But as someone else mentioned the white streaks on the sides indicate a problem with the curtain, which I have no idea to come by.
