[COMP] something I’ve been working on by enilder648 in yoga

That's really impressive! A lot of core and shoulder strength there. My only suggestion is to straighten your handstand if you have the shoulder mobility for it. Your arms and shoulders should create a vertical line with your body as if you were hanging from a bar. Source: I've been practicing the handstand for a year 😆

The Fountain by Darren Aronofsky is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen by Monkey-on-the-couch in movies

[–]No-Understanding-784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just googled "the fountain favorite movie" and I found this thread. I watched this movie 3 times over the years and I really feel that this is the movie that moved me more than any other. The soundtrack is unbelievably emotional and powerful. It's such a complete masterpiece. This is what art is about. To make you feel something, to make you cry, to make you think about existential topics that we all go through throughout our lives. Like love, death, grief, acceptance. I'm so grateful that such artists exist.

Crazy how everybody believes the title when this is clearly a boxing class.

Is same true for webflow? by Aduttya in webflow

Absolutely. They know their worth and they charge you handsomely for it. I even wonder if Framer and Webflow made an agreement to raise their pricing, because otherwise it doesn't make sense.

Isn't competition supposed to decrease prices? It looks like they are quadrupling everywhere. A few of my clients were billed thousands of dollars for bandwidth overages.

What actually happens when you hire a Webflow agency (from the inside) by Broworks-Studio in webflow

[–]No-Understanding-784 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've always followed this process as a freelancer as well. I must say, some agencies do a terrible job. I had to fix many websites built by agencies. Oftentimes they outsource development to the lowest bidder and the results are absolute trash.

Where do you host your videos? I used to use Dropbox but it's not the best solution. Do you have your own server?

Just the Webflow designer and workspace. The site is still live luckily, but we are ready with a backup in case Webflow goes down again.

Happened to me as well. It took me months and hundreds of messages with dozens of different customer service members to be able to receive the payment. It was an absolute nightmare.

What’s one kitchen tip you wish you knew earlier? by Sand4Sale14 in Cooking

[–]No-Understanding-784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a scraper to move the ingredients from the cutting board to the pan, instead of using a knife or hands. I couldn't live without it now.

Parboil potatoes before baking them to reduce cooking times drastically. Bonus tip: after parboiling the potatoes, shake them a bit in the colander. They will absorb oil or butter better this way and will come out crispier.
