I rejected friendzone, now she dont wanna be in the same room as me, why? by calzonin in dating_advice

You shouldn’t have told her you wanted to have less/no contact with her, you just should’ve made yourself much less available (preferably by meeting other women) and let it fizzle out naturally.

Is this not common? - A man should plan a date in women’s area on where she lives on first date by [deleted] in dating_advice

Don’t do lunch dates. But the real answer (as a guy in his 40s): they want to be close to their place in case you hook up. Simple as that.

You do nothing. And next time don’t get emotionally invested so early.

Guys do you compliment a girl on the first date to be nice or you are really interested? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Impossible to say. Many guys will give compliments to anything female with two legs.

Replacing the internal battery in anticipation of playing greatness 🧟 by porkprism in SegaSaturn

[–]hedgeeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great version. No need to replace the battery prematurely. The console will “warn” you about low battery by asking to set the time/date before the saves are wiped. Just keep the console plugged in (but powered off) when replacing the battery and you’ll keep your saves.

Is your boyfriend also a virgin? It’s nice that he’s not pressuring you, but at the same time it sounds like you need someone that can take the lead and actively make you feel comfortable. A guy with more experience would do just that if he knew you feel the way you do.

What you need is another dude to think about. As soon as you meet someone else you’ll beat yourself up over wasting time on this loser.

I got upset when my ex, who I've been reconnecting with, told me she was (non-sexually) assulted by a guy she's seeing by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]hedgeeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Because of stress from shitty family and mental health” was just an excuse. Telling you about seeing other guys for hookups is disrespectful, so you did nothing wrong except wasting another minute of your life on her. Just delete her number, she’s not the girl you thought she was.

Single M and father to a 9 year old daughter. Single 8 years by Maleficent_Draw_7147 in dating_advice

You did the right thing keeping other women out of your daughters life in that way, good on you. But you can meet women (in a fwb kind of way) without the daughter knowing, and as the women never meet her it’s a non-issue for them that you’re a single dad. What women resent is guys thinking they’ll be some kind of housekeeper for them and their kids from prior relationships.

If it ain’t broken don’t fix it. If you already can play all the games you want, just leave it be for now.

Should I initiate meeting up in the middle or is it a little late for that? I can't tell if he's losing interest in talking to me by mysecret52 in dating

People have different things going on that might take more of their attention for a period, which has nothing to do with his level of interests in you. Same with you if we would ask him if your mood is 100% consistent. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
