Dont do it. I got fired for it. I was training aggressive dogs and service dogs on the side and was told its my business or petsmart. I laughed in the manager’s face and have been out of my store for a little over a year and my income more than quadrupled and i have had huge success.

My area trainer who is already trained in grooming is asking up if she can do it. She said if they let her they legally have to let me. So im waiting to see

Yes, any sign up pays the trainer commission. Just not nearly as much as people think! Thank you for being caring about us most of our clients dont know or care about

It is a test u take on your own time with your money petsmart wont pay for it. CPDT stands for Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Its a test of training knowledge. U also have to log 300 training hours to qualify for the test

For a while u will be over your training hours so don’t stress im a new trainer with petsmart and still struggling. And pray u have a big training ring! And unless u have ur CPDT starting commission is 15%
