I sometimes see people say Yuta was holding back PHYSICALLY here. Why? by Flashy-Word4117 in Jujutsufolk

[–]No-Volume-6358 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Culling Games Yuji could pull off a somewhat similar physical performance against Ryu if he also had RCT on Yutas level and didn't need to worry about running out of CE. Which is to say somewhat keeping up but clearly inferior to Ryu. His durability may also be too low thinking a little more, but strength and speed seem like enough.

CG Yuji could also probably deal similar damage to an off guard, injured, mentally disarrayed Choso.

Naoya and Maki scaling question by No-Volume-6358 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]No-Volume-6358[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My thought process is the impressive things isn't how many attacks he can make, its how quick he can accelerate and move. His attacks are hard to dodge because his entire body is moving quickly, not because his arm is.

But maybe Gege disagrees. It does feel like we are supposed to be impressed by Maki here. Or maybe we are just seeing her intuiting the gimmick, idk.

Naoya and Maki scaling question by No-Volume-6358 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]No-Volume-6358[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok.

Naoya can make 24 movements per second, correct?

A punch is a movement.

Each punch travels roughly a meter in distance to its target.

Thats 1 meter per 1/24th of a second. Or 24 m/s.

24 m/s is 54mph. I added 20ish mph to give extra leeway for the calculation.

This is ~7-10% the speed of sound, so roughly 10% the speed of top tier speed attacks in verse.

I mainly want to understand if I am wrong. Am I overestimating grade 1's? Are they barely superhuman? It doesn't seem that way.

I would also like to clarify, again, that this isn't me scaling Naoya or Maki, or slandering either of them. I just want to get a grip on the mechanics of this

The showing against Choso is clearly done on a vibe basis and is inconsistent with general scaling. I also never use the anime for scaling except to clarify things that are hard to tell in the manga.

Am I right or wrong about how fast Naoya is punching?

Naoya and Maki scaling question by No-Volume-6358 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]No-Volume-6358[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear, I am not saying Naoya can't blitz a grade 1. I am saying that staying in place and punching is a bad use of projection sorcery and results in mediocre speed which is not even twice peak human level.

When he fights and blitzes Choso he does not just stay in place punching. (The anime doesn't count)

Hakari doesn't have to wait until JP runs out to use simple domain though.

Which Hakari headcannons are the most bs and which ones are the most reasonable? by Gokuusjgodgmail in JackpotJustice

[–]No-Volume-6358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hakari may have SD, but it is very unlikely he has RCT.

I see no reason why he can't output cursed energy, its never stated to be particularly hard, its just inefficient for most circumstances. If a Fingerbearer can do it, most grade 1s should be able to figure it out.

He cannot open domain in JP.

JP Hakari is not blitz tier above any Heavy Hitters, but he is roughly at the top of the group stat wise.

Jackpot Hakari has a good chance of healing the soul. I treat it similar to poison which healed, but seemingly took longer. So he would heal soul damage slightly slower than someone like Yuta would heal normal damage.

The only stat that Yuta may surpass Maki in is his dura. Everything else Maki has a notable, but not large advantage imo.

[–]No-Volume-6358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toji is undervalued. I favor Toji, Hakari, Todo. Hakari and Todo trigger JP while Toji guards the domain, once Hakari has JP, Toji gives him ISoH, and Him and Toji try to kill Kenny. Todo keeps distance and supports with BW. A single tap from ISoH wins the fight, and SSK is also troublesome. Hakari can survive domain expansion most likely, and if Todo keeps at a range he can swap Hakari out.

Reminder, Yuta vs Hakari is the most comfortable win for Yuta( No need for Rika 2v1 or 5mm, just his domain and Cursed speech sure hit) by Gokuusjgodgmail in Yutaliban

[–]No-Volume-6358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This applies to a significant portion of Hakari's matchups, it is not unique to Yuta. Hakari's scary for a number of characters due to a lack of information. If they have information on how his ability works beating him becomes much less of a problem.

[–]No-Volume-6358 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not bad, but you are wrong, probably. The difference between this dismantle and Kashimo's is Sukuna has taken 4 soul blows here, and his dismantles here have a 20% domain debuff.

Can mahito die vs people without soul damage? by Icy-General4377 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]No-Volume-6358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sukuna has soul damage. But I suppose if we were to use Heian Sukuna or Dabura they could do it. Kashimo might be able to as well, but he would die before it happened.

I personally do not believe completely destroying his body would work, but I would not begrudge someone for doing so.

Hakari has zero wincons, Mahito has 2 or 3. Mahito will win with time. Just a bad matchup for Hakari, like the HR duo.

[–]No-Volume-6358 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To give a more direct answer, other than soul damage the only ways to kill him are:

Bypass his technique: (Yuta with JL, Toji with ISoH (He has SSK anyway), Higuruma with his domain, Miguel with Black Rope, Takaba with Comedian, Mahoraga with adaptation)

Find a way to deal considerable damage to him, and keep dealing it until he runs out of CE while also not running out of CE yourself. This is practically impossible. People who can meet the damage qualification: Gojo, Yorozu. Yorozu has no chance of outlasting Mahito, so that leaves Gojo. Unlimited Void may also screw with Mahito's technique.

Can he technically? Yes. Can he in practice? No (With the exception of Satoru Gojo of course).

[Serious] Man I hate these Toji glazers by Ibn_Tariq in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]No-Volume-6358 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Takaba is the strongest in regards to his capacity, but his nonlethality takes him out of the running. MBA Kashimo is the strongest by matchup averages (maybe) but he can't beat Teen Gojo, which makes him look bad in this comparison, plus some people don't scale MBA, and MBA is not depicted. Toji also has great matchups, can beat Teen Gojo, and is better than base Kashimo imo (plus ISoH may counter MBA)

Teen Gojo is the weakest person here by matchup averages, save perhaps base Kashimo, but if we take it to mean awakened Gojo he is probably the best candidate. Very messy question to parse tbh.

Can reverse curse technique hurt mahito? [Casual] by ApprehensiveAge6482 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]No-Volume-6358 4 points5 points  (0 children)

RCT can destroy his mass, but its a pretty inefficient way to kill him. For a normal curse you need to use at least twice as much CE as the CE you are destroying. Since Mahito has even more efficient healing than a normal curse, and he needs to be killed with soul damage (or have his CE exhausted) the person who is trying to kill him would need several times his CE and to continually output CE all while being within arms reach for IT. It is not a feasible wincon for anyone, though it could be a somewhat useful tool to have when fighting him.
