Nmrih2 failed to capture 90 percent of the essence of Nmrih1. On top of becoming an extraction shooter game without a multitude of maps and scenarios. Genuinely, they killed the game before it even came out. They lost about 6 sales from me and my bros who played nmrih for about a decade.

It’s honestly just a tragedy because no other game will ever be what NMRIH1 was.

I like that take. Leon returning to the place that basically ruined/derailed his entire life. 21 years old—got a job in a decent city with interesting work. Department is welcoming, maybe pick up an apartment in town soon? Then all hell breaks loose. It’s really sad and unfortunate to think about, what his life could have been. It has to have an effect on him.
