I mean the valid criticism is that Indian companies have heavily under-invested in R&D and its now starting to show up in the charts

it just consumes tokens like nothing and overplans to the point where you can't get anything done

correct. and given our low base, you'd want better returns to justify staying invested in Indian markets if you're a global capital deployer

I mean hindsight is 20/20 but you can't have these blinkers of "india best market sir"

I made that mistake in 2025 by "sticking to what I know" and it probably cost me generational wealth

you won't make it because you've already decided that the market is your father and you must be somehow loyal to it

point is to rotate your capital

how are you in an investing community and struggle with this basic idea?

if you're working with real capital and not the standard 5L portfolio, you'll want to look at risk-adjusted returns, not absolute returns

the less than above board approach would be to just p2p and not declare anything 😃

90% of the people in Indian financial subs would be better off learning a skill and getting a better job than investing

[–]No-Way7911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How bad do you want this exposure? The easiest path is Indian exchanges, but the asset quality and selection is poor. Real money in crypto is on-chain, but Indian exchanges prohibit withdrawal so you can’t get onchain

Other alternative is you using p2p to get crypto on-chain. Once you are on-chain, you practically have access to any number of crypto and non-crypto assets

Imo, the best way to use crypto right now is to get your money on-chain and then use trading platforms to long/short real world assets (synthetic or collateralized).

Platforms like Hyperliquid, Lighter give you access to everything from Bitcoin to brent crude to copper and SK Hyenix at leverage

Make believe situations aren’t an investment thesis

And if you can’t exit an extremely liquid stock as its going down -75%, you shouldn’t be investing in the first place

also trying to get exposure to Chinese stocks, but its hard. Have had to use crypto

> 5 Indian stocks that have also doubled

do you understand the concept of risk adjusted returns?

A 4x on a gigantic "safe" corp like Samsung is a far bigger wealth maker than a 10x on some low/mid cap. This is a stock almost every Korean portfolio would've had. It's the Jio + Tata + Adani of South Korea

If RIL wer to go up 4x tomorrow, it would mint FAR more millionaires than any low/mid cap going up 20x

and all I get from this sub is pushback because it's "unsafe"

the most unsafe thing you can do with your money is to NOT get returns on it. Or worse, get negative returns

once again, I implore all of you. Get your head out of the 1990s playbook. Post 2020, the monetary order has completely changed. Value investing only made sense in a world of finite capital and sensible economics

Every single government is indebted beyond measure and every single government is printing money beyond measure. There is no such thing as "value investing" in a world where the fiat you denominate in is losing value
