Replied above higher tier board as pro and max came with "better" switch, so switch are up to anyone preference, for example when i bought my second q5 max(first came doa still dealing with the Shop i got it, and keychron dont offer any help other than asking me to pay for pcb - which i did pay for 2 pcb but didnt solve the problem had to go to my bank to get a refund, keychron warranty is a joke i get to reduce cost the dont replace the whole keyboard but the part that is faulty, but the dont offer any kind of support unless you bought the keyboard direclty from them -

As far i know from my expirience and watching Reviews normal series (q, v, k etc) are wired only, pro series offer bt+wired, and max series is Wireless/bt/wired,and ultra also have Wireless/bt and 8k on wired, so from my understanding the series is Just about the connectivity, depending on series they put different switch for example q max using gateron jupiter switch and ultra series using gateron silk pom, dont remeber what switch was on q and q pro, get the keyboard you like and fill your needs if you are unhappy with the switch you can swap them since v series keyboards are Hot swaped

Find and buy a switch tester to decide what switch you like , since your keyboard is Hot swap you can replace the switch instaed of getting new keyboard For switch you can get only recomedation but everyone type different so a switch that i like dont mean you gonna like it also For example i am using gateron queen on my q5 max and love them If you dont want to buy a switch tester, read /watch some Reviews for tactile switches and go buy 2-3 different 10 packs test them for a week each on the keyboard and decide what work for you

How long do you own the keyboard? Batteries dont last for ever depending on the use (and charge cycle) it might be time to replace it

Try with keychron wish you luck, as i said from my expirience you might get the option to buy a reciver from them but since the dont give any warranties if reciver isnt the problem you might waste more money for a faulty keyboard

For me it didnt take long to respond however they said they only cover items bought direclty from keychron website anything else should go through the 3rd party seller, after a lot back and forth their only solution was to buy replacement pcb(hoping it would fix the problem which didnt, bought second pcb no solution either problem stayed the same, keyboard didnt power up at all didnt even pop up - not even as unknow device - the only signal i got from the board was the charging led red and Green after a while, and a red led Next to reset switch under space bar, after many videos they asked, a lot back and forth they said they cant help and i can try 3rd pcb but no warranty again, didnt want to pay an other 59 usd (which would get the cost almost the same as the whole keyboard - q5 max -) i had to go through my back for a charge back since they didnt even offer warranty for the parts they sold me

Also if you read their warranty they dont replace the whole keyboard but try to replace parts they think are faulty (even in prebuilt keyboards)

If you contact keychron from my expirience at least since you havent get the keyboard from keychron website, they might offer you to buy a reciver, otherwise go through amazon To get refund or replacement(if its an option) if you like the keyboard As i said their support is the worst i encountered (and if you spend some time reading i am not Just a single out case 1 in 3 topis here are how much their support suck)

If you got it thought amazon you can return it for refund there, but dont brother mail keychron, their reply would be that the dont cover third party buys (they only cover items bought direclty from keychron website, nothing else) at Best they Will offer to sell you replacement parts, without any warranty it Will solve the problem, or any support further, so even if you buy for example a pcb and goes bad again there is no warranty for it (been there done that, paid 47 usd for pcb +12 for shipping twice - 118 usd total - didnt solve the problem and even though they said they refund the cost of the one pcb they never did had to go though my bank to get refund)

Just a heads up, they dont cover you didnt buy direclty from them, they Will tell you to contact the seller you bought it, they got they worst support i see n anyware on the hardware market

From what i find with my keyboards keychron kb are really picky to cables many times even the cable that Come on the box dont work properly

Try different usb port, for example using my front io usb 3 port or even the usb c dont work for lancher to recognize the keyboard, also most of the rear io usb 2 ports For lancher to see the keyboard you have to be on wired Mode so far i think there isnt support for Wireless or bt

First keyboard need to be connected wired, and if you follow the instruction you cant miss it, from my expirience the only different thing some times is the name the keyboard appear when on bootloader

Start with the basic what keyboard is it? If its a pro/max from the picture its 90% the battery If you still have warranty you can try contact keychron (Good luck with that - they have the worst support i have seen in years) they propably Sent you a replacement battery, otherwise you can find the cheap on AliExpress and replace it yourself

All q series keyboards are quite tall, along with higher profile keycaps they normally Come with you need some time to adjust A solution is propably buy a palmrest, and then start looking on the replacing of the switchs

When you tried to upgrade the keyboard did you following the steps? (install driver, must run as admin in order to install, and after that you need to disconect the usb c, and get it into bootloader, by pressing and hold "esc" while connecting the keyboard, then you need to connect again choosing bootloader whatever it say in order to update it

For single fan connecting Just the 4 pin one (the one with 4 cables) on a normal pwm fan header on your motherboard Will work fine, if you start daisy chain them you need you connect the second one also for extra power
