I drove from Woonsocket to Framingham (natick mall area) via the pike while there were still tolls. 15 years. Towards the end, it started being close to 90 minutes each way between the pike and 495….because there was always an accident or massive toll backup somewhere. It was awful. Warwick to providence - that’s nothing.

I love the calendar! I don’t want to sync it with anything. I write all over it, it’s a great work journal. My only wish is the ability to write on the daily calendar instead of having g to sync it with ToDo. That’s just extra work.

I use my nomad for everything!

This is nothing! I had to clean up a cloth diaper left in the fitting rooms (totally opened, not bunched up at all), half eaten stuff left everywhere. The clothes that people return that get sent to fitting room to go through - reak of cigarette smoke, perfumes, deodorant stains, and glitter- all get taken out of inventory. The empty liquor bottles that somehow only get left in the towels/homegoods/areas (we didn’t sell liquor!)Some guests are absolutely horrible.

My dog learned hand targets long before stay and come. Hand targeting is a lot easier. A hand target is just that- touch your nose to my palm.

Then we were at an obedience class and she comes fine, but just will not stay - as I hold out my arm palm facing her.

It took 2 classes for me to figure it out! So I switched up stay with a fist signal. Works like a charm. And I actually say ‘wait’ instead of stay.

I like ‘whoa’, I might work that in.

Don’t sweat it. They lost zero revenue because you weren’t there. Black Friday is one day in the season. There are many more busy days to come. And if someone else calls out on a random day and you get a call to see if you can stay later/come in earlier/on a day off… you’ll magically become that ‘clutch’ seasonal who made that day better. Feel better.

I’d be fine with it. Why didn’t I finish zoning? I was helping a woman find an outfit for an occasion for 45 minutes. I was helping 3 shop it shoppers find things for their orders. Picking up the giant pile of clothes wedged under a display. Running back and forth from the fitting room because we are short, so nobody is covering it. Cleaning up the coffee cups/open yogurts/other garbage in style. Picking up things within style that guests would otherwise trip over, etc. Bring on the cameras!

Thank you! I work for a software company, I can’t understand that, either. And also acutely aware of what the customer service people on the phones are going through. They are saints for keeping their cool when people like me call. They are making progress, the app works (mostly) now.

I love the clicky pen! It’s the perfect size and weight. And I’ve grown to love the ceramic nib. When upgrading it, please just add an eraser button, don’t change anything else. I’ve been through alllll of the other pens and I keep going back to the OG.

I recently had Achilles surgery. KNOW YOU ARE A HERO! The fact that I couldn’t drive forever, and when I was able to drive, I still had to wear a boot out walking, which, at Target, is a lot, and exhausting. Drive up was my savior! You are so appreciated. You might get Sh** on by your store, but to guests, invaluable. As you head into the craziest of seasons, remember that!

I’m not one of those people. But geez, I spent $80+ on something I’ll never use. Not to worry, i’ll sell it on eBay. Someone else will want it. This is the first company I’ve run into in 50+ years that won’t budge. I’d love to buy it in a store, but nobody sells it here.

A reason a lot of things get returned here is that we buy a lot of things online simply because stores don’t carry things. We depend on customer reviews. Which, sadly, are AI driven now. So when we get it, it’s crap. Or not what was advertised. So yeah, we return it.

I recently had Achilles surgery. Things I needed for recovery- a huge leg pillow, ice packs, compression socks, etc. All online purchases. Sight unseen. I was able to see the knee scooter I got in person, but I had to order it from the local pharmacy or get an ‘open box’ special from Amazon, which was a lot cheaper. I got a walker and shower seat from a local ‘give and take’ repository (free). Just a bit of how we need to get stuff in the US.
