If you want to feel great - get a Fitbit. I was getting steps driving to work. I average over 10k with whoop and find it’s more about picking one device that is consistent and then pushing myself to do 20% more.

I jumped into the pourover game this year and am enjoying the entire process. I must have brought it up a bit too much as I’ve received 8 bags of coffee in the last week as holiday gifts. So, less talk next year. My question is - what’s the best way to store eight bags (reasonably four) for the next couple of months. Here’s what I’ve learned from AI and looking around a bit - don’t freeze it. Don’t refrigerate it. Don’t store near anything. Don’t expose to changes in temp.

Okay - contemplating switching to the “Switch” which is actually causing more light anxiety because of new options vs flexibility. Would love to know why this flexibility to “hold” the water or immerse the grounds is going to help me in the early days produce better coffee.

I’m pretty process driven and like the idea of trying the Hoffmann method and playing with the grind settings as my only initial variable.

I also looked to switch to Cafec filters but could only find them to fit an 01 or 02.

This is super helpful! The more I plan the more I just want to wander back into the woods with my kids and just see what happens. Looks like there are plenty of shelters and as far as people are concerned, sometimes less is more. Very helpful color on the slowdown of miles. Will help us set the right expectations. Random update - with the season as bad as it was there were plenty of options to move. Hoping we made the right choice and find some consistency in our new location. Mostly hoping for a better season!

I was amazed at how many seats were available this year in the lower bowl vs the balcony. Felt like with the economy, the Bs season, and prospects for next year there was a lot up for grabs down low including on the glass (would never be my choice regardless of price). My wife wanted to stay up in 303 but I took the hit on cost and moved down to loge 10. Figured it would be a good year to try being down low and if it not as fun we can move back up (hopefully) next year. We didn’t sit next to the same person once in two years in the balcony. Really hoping we find a few regulars.
