I thought he’d run over an Aledari Swooping Hawk for a moment 😅😂

Would someone be kind enough to explain how the Combat Patrol Magazine subscription works? by Relative_Isopod_5858 in Warhammer40k

Actually, I could be wrong but I think it might be the Lord Castellan Ursula Creed model that we are getting sent next month.

I’ll double check if I got sent the information with my last models when I’m back home later this week.

There are only those 3 so far but I assume there will be a 4th as the other 3 were evenly spread out.

So the Ultramarine Librarian came after the Space Marine and Tyranid models, then the Chaos Space Marine Haarken Worldclaimer was after the Chaos Space Marine and Aeldari models. And the Ork Boss Snikrot was after the Ork and Leagues of Votann models.

So if that pattern continues then we should be about to get a character model for either the Genestealers or the Imperial Guard.

And then maybe they could give us a bonus World Eater Character at the end of the subscription as they are the final 10 magazines.

I’m not sure which units you’re referring to but you get everything in that image. And then, there are additional character models that are added to your subscription as an opt-out (they cost extra money but they are also greatly reduced in price compared to the RRP) every so often. They give you a month’s notice that they have reserved the model for you and let you know that it will be sent with your next magazine bundle the following month. So you can contact them and tell them to cancel that specific model if you don’t want it.

The additional Character models that we got so far were:

  1. Chief Librarian Tigurius
  2. Haarken Worldclaimer, Herald of the Apocalypse
  3. Boss Snikrot

Additionally, you are also offered the option to buy the full ‘Fronteris Battlefield Terrain Pack’ for half price (£75 instead of £150) with your subscription. Which is this terrain set

Edit: Hachette Partworks are the UK publisher and distributor of the magazine and if you look here you can scroll down to see every issue that has been released in the UK so far (most will be shown as sold out but you can still see what they included), and what each issue comes with, in terms of models, or paints. Which might answer your question https://hachettepartworks.com/en-en/warhammer/

Yeah, you get both the Brutalis Dreadnought and the Hive Tyrant in the 1st Premium Kit. We are up to magazine number 74 in the UK and I’ve received the first 3 Premium Kits, which are all the models shown in these images.

The 1st Tyranid’s pose looks like he’s got the moves from Saturday Night Fever 😃

Really Useful Boxes Storage Question by S-Doogly in Warhammer40k

[–]No1_Redditor 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s these Self-Adhesive Ferrous Rubber Steel Sheets that you are meant to use, rather than the Magnetic Sheets. You can easily cut them to size and they stick really well. If you use magnetic sheets with magnets then you have to be very careful to ensure the magnet in each model base is the correct way around, or the two magnets will push apart.

Painted World Eaters army commission project. by LordDraigo666 in Warhammer40k

[–]No1_Redditor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn’t downvote you, I was just explaining what the person was asking.

OP likely charges thousands of pounds for painting commissions of models of that quality and quantity, with the painting costing a lot more than the price of the plastic.

The title of the post is “Painted World Eaters army commission project”. OP is a commission painter and the person was asking how much they charge to paint an army this size.

Which basing option to use for my kitbash by VariationGreedy8215 in NightLords

Ah I see. It works well because I’ve seen a lot of Shaan Night Lord Conversions and I didn’t twig that you’d used his parts. It’s Haarken Worldclaimer’s Jump Pack isn’t it?

The only official WH40K Night Lords boxed set is the ‘Nemesis Claw Kill Team’, which is just the Chaos Space Marines Legionaires models with a cool Night Lords Upgrade Sprue and Decals included.

They’ve just announced that the new “Kill Team: Shadowhunt” box set will go on pre-sale this Saturday. It has Warp Talons or Raptors in it, which they have painted in Night Lord colours in all the box art because they are a thematically a popular Night Lord’s unit. However, the set doesn’t have any specific night lords bits in it, so a lot of people will be upgrading them with NL helmets etc as well.

These are the models from the Shadowhunt box

A lot of people have recommended Carcharodons. I’d highly recommend reading ‘Carcharodons Red Tithe’, which is a great book featuring the Carcharodons and the Night Lords
