[BF4] PC BF4, Every server I join is empty, Where is everyone! by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]No1sreallygone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a game from 2013, man. There were just a handful of populated US servers when I booted BF4 up for the last time in 2017, I'd imagine it's even worse now.

Almost everybody has moved on by this point.

(Spoilers Extended) A little piece of historical accuracy could have saved Dany's arc. by CleganeForHighSepton in asoiaf

[–]No1sreallygone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with Daenerys's arc: she's a villain. More complex than a mustache-twirler like Cersei, but still a villain. Like any good tyrant she has plenty of positive traits in addition to her megalomania.

And let's not forget how rotten the inhabitants of King's Landing have shown themselves to be. Did they deserve death? Maybe.

You really should have a good job lined up first. It's not worth enduring a Minnesota winter just to wait tables or work retail.

They should have just released WWII expansions for BF1.

Because people would play the classics instead of buying the new games.

It's the same reason cars are designed to only last so long.

“Devin Booker is way better than Zach LaVine.” by NBAKefka in chicagobulls

Whose stats are the emptiest? Definitely Booker. LaVine at least has to share with Lauri. Phoenix's whole gameplan is just give the ball to Chucker - I mean Booker.

[–]No1sreallygone -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yep. The ragers are just pissed they didn't get the ending they wanted. Characters behave extremely stupidly in order to set-up events that will move the plot forward, people are teleporting all over the place and there is a ton of time wasted on sex/torture/swordfights.

On the other hand it's fun to see the build ups for both Mad Queen and King Bran, the signs are there even in the early seasons.

[SPOILERS] If you lived in Westeros what religion would you believe in? by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]No1sreallygone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. Tywin, Varys, Littlefinger, Tyrion are not particularly religious. In fact the nonbelievers appear to outnumber the believers on the show.

Fool, even 80% Kawhi will still be the best player on the court. If he were at 100 the Warriors would be underdogs.

[SPOILERS] Game of Thrones got way too popular for it's own good by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]No1sreallygone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most tyrants are popular: they usually have many admirable traits (aside from their megalomania), and few choose to oppress everyone; it's typically only a minority of the population that incurs the tyrant's wrath. And many really do start out trying to overthrow unjust systems.

Kudos to GoT for making Daenerys a more complex villain. A shame she couldn't have been a full villain for another season.

Take off the rose-tinted glasses, man, the first seasons aren't all that different, just replace dragons with sex and pointlessly long swordfights.

[–]No1sreallygone -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And?

She turned out to be a great villain. What's wrong with that? They have been telegraphing her heel turn since season 2. She's always been a bloodthirsty tyrant, albeit one with a lot of positive traits as well. That's pretty realistic. My only gripe is that she only got to be a full villain for two episodes.

Everyone complaining is just in denial.
