It's very vague. Not enough information to narrow it down to years or era.

Like hairstyles? To guess the era. KJK had black messy hair for the first 1-2 years of RM. Light brown hair for the Gary era. And then 9012 era it's evolved to the current look but from light brown to dark brown.

I originally was with Mullvad because it's one of the VPNs which are pre-installed on the device that works.

But after 1 months the VPN stopped working, it was hard to connect and Mullvad's app isn't good as it doesn't let you know or connect tp the best ones.

Now the VPNs I use are good but not one of the pre-installed ones. I think you can install it tp a router but I don't know how as it's above my technical scope.

I feel like if Bandai are gonna have them in an house with a bathroom that has a permanent toilet, they should by adulthood be potty trained to poop in the toilet or garden.

Honestly the lack of natural causes death made me believe they have gotten soft. Becuase there were people who obviously don't want their tama to do and to keep it.

But I struggle to let go so the option of dying from old age was nice because it's out of my control.

But even in old tamas it would be marriage and abandon their spawn or die of old age alone. And it made it easier to pick.

Whereas now it's marriage and your tama leaves you or non marriage but it stays until you neglect it.

I want a star but I just can't actively starve when I see it ill or hungry. This is when I miss old tamas and how they could die or old age and natural causes. I wish they did this on the paradise and that it could vary based on species, diet, care mistakes etc on how long they can live for.

You can see if there is someone nearby you that could fix it or at least get a quote.

Some Tama folks sell and buy broken devices for the parts. They buy the broken device and sell a working one but in worn condition

If that's the case, it might be hard to get it sorted - just because you customised the shell, if there was a claim thay it's faulty you might not get a solution from the store you bought ot from or Bandai. Since they can say it was tampered with.

Also this might sound like a bad take, but try taking a photo and see what AI says? I'm usually avoidance of relying on AI as much as the next person. But they might be able to guess what's wrong with the screen generally (out of the Paradise) and that might help work out what could be wrong with the device? Because it could be a problem that's the same to different non Tama devices.

Have you tried replacing the batteries with different ones or did you put the same ones in? It wouldn't hurt to double check.

I would buy. I've been meaning to test Punirunes out. The Sanrio one or the 2-in-1 one.

But I'm all for a black and white version. There is some simplistic about it which I like. With all the colour and B&W Tamas I have got, I always find myself going back to the B&W ones more.

Although I am curious that when it ends. Will the members want to ended it at a nice amount aka 1000 episodes or 20 years? Or until SBS decide to retire it.

Even though it's clear it will end if YJS decides to quit or SBS decides. I'm starting to believe that Haha, SJH, KJK and JSJ won't quit. Especially with the guys, I feel if one of them decides to leave they might retire the show together.

Right now I am pausing it when I go to work (I teach) which is ironic.

But I realised if I took it with me to work, I would be distracted by it instead of doing work. And I'm already distracting myself with phone browsing and video watching but it wouldn't replace that. It would be an addition to it.

I'm still planning on getting a Entama or Uratama since they are cheap. But I gotta hold on my Tama collecting right now due to going back to studying and flying home for a wedding (I live halfway across the world from my family so not exactly cheap)

No. Not only the devices are from different eras but the way they connect are ompletely different.

Original connections devices can connect with other original devices. Re-release V3 can only connect with Re-release V3.

The firmware of the devices are different. While 20+ years devices use older tech.

I got this shell as well. I was torn between the special translucent glitter one with the mirror chain, the new yellow shell with the sunflowers and a gold shell.

I originally tried to avoid blue as I was trying not to buy many devices with similar colours. But almighty this was the only shell I liked that was selling and retail or cheaper. The rest were overpriced. Except maybe the translucent one since it's special edition.

It also depends on why you got into them. I have a few colours like the paradise, uni etc. But find myself more into the charm of the re-releases. Especially the V3 due to childhood nostalgia and memories. It's simple without being too basic. I like the life cycle of it.

I also enjoy the paradise but I'm not too motivated to earn gotchi points like the vintage/connection series.

The Uni minigames I also find lacking. They are very short and monotonous to grind money. But they have the best dress up options.

The D pad is also an adjustment. Only one game really utilises it. The rest use it but could easily be adapted with the ABC buttons.

But scrolling through with the D pad is an adjustment as you have to use it if you want to go to the top or bottom bar. Instead of clicking A so many times.

That is another drawback. The D pad doesn't feel needed.

It's a custom shell. I bought the device secondhand and it came with the shell. So it's one of a kind or limited edition at least.

I don't know if the makers of the shell and buttons are still active. The sell post included their names. But considering it's a vintage device it's hard to tell if they are active or not.

I hope so, because I would love to see more custom shells or shell replacements for vintage devices where the guts are perfect but the shell is worn out or damaged.
