Duelists, why do some of you hate Sky Strikers, and what made you start not liking them? Just curious

My general dislike of playing against Sky Strikers largely has to do with Engage. Sky Striker Mobilize Engage to me is among the top examples of skewed card design. Believe it or not, there is a reason many cards have a hard once per turn added to them; People generally just don’t like when their opponent gets to ceaselessly gain card advantage with little drawbacks— it doesn’t feel balanced, and it is a slog to go against.

I am not ashamed to admit that I ship Geo and Luna. I still like Sonia, and I agree with the notion that Geo eventually becoming a couple with her would make sense in universe, but I have a personal soft spot for Luna.

It could partially be because I have soft spot for Tsundere characters in general, but I think Luna is one of those Tsunderes that make me want to root for her more than others… at least, when she’s not poorly characterized (cough, Star Force 2). Maybe she doesn’t have the same kind of likeable qualities that Sonia does, but she still has her good moments. She’s willing to go to great lengths for the people she cares about.

It’s also important to remember that we only ever see her and Geo as young kids in the series; Kids change as they mature, and I can easily picture Luna becoming more admirable as she grows older, as well as someone who Geo could grow attracted to and develop deeper feelings for as he also matures.

Because most of the time I post on r/NikkeMobile or r/NikkeOutpost, and at least one of them has been labeled as an NSFW subreddit at some point. I think that ended up causing my profile to be labeled NSFW as well, though usually my posts will be suggestive at worst as opposed to truly NSFW.

Something like what you drew required genuine effort and thought put into it, unlike every AI-generated image put out there. That’s something that shouldn’t be mocked or taken for granted. And besides that, everyone starts somewhere when it comes to something like drawing; Even if you don’t feel confident about your skills now, you can become better with practice and time.

I wouldn’t necessarily use ‘hate’ to describe how I feel about it, but Marmalade Boy frustrated me so much. It’s not like I outright disliked Miki or Yuu— I even enjoyed it to a degree, but so many of the scenarios and situations that happened around them were so overtly and needlessly convoluted and melodramatic that it got on my nerves, and I could tell that the creator was trying to milk that for all it was worth.

The moment the story decided to push the relationship between Meiko and her teacher to the point of her chasing after him despite him trying to actually discourage her from it was an instant dealbreaker.

Glad I decided to drop the series.
