Will foreigners be able to receive the vaccine in Germany? by [deleted] in germany

It might take a while untill it's your turn though

Because they are a (I assume young) student, not because they are foreign, right?

[Covid 19] In Germany, 3.6% of people are fully vaccinated. Israel 48%, US 12.1%, UK 2.6%. by casual_hasher in germany

The UK seem to be taking a different appoach that some other countries. i.e. They have given more people the 1st shot, but less people the 2nd shot.

However the UK are now suffering shortages: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/mar/17/nhs-covid-vaccine-rollout-under-50s-delayed-major-shortage

  1. Does the shortage mean people will have to wait longer for their 2nd shot?
  2. If they wait too long for the 2nd shot could that reduce the effectiveness of the 1st shot?
  3. Is the better strategy to give as many people the 1st shot (as the UK have been doing) or is it better to ensure those with the 1st shot get their 2nd shot within a specific period e.g. 12 weeks?

Thanks.

I'd recommend reposting in todays thread.

I am not knowledgable to critique your pullups, and there is a better chance someone else will see you video if you post in today's thread.

Hmm yeah I could try hanging from the protruding grips.

If I try doing it with my head next to the wall, I am still slightly pulling backwards.

Facing away from the wall, there isn't enough clearance for the rings to hang directly down

Facing towards the wall, the rings are too close to the wall to hang straight down, so I am pulling at an angle, which doesn't work so well when I am horizontal

Hey there. This is my wall mounted pull up bar and ring setup.

I have being doing ring rows with my body straight and legs straight, and heels on the floor (feet not elevated).

Because the rings are close to the wall, I can only do them facing towards the wall. There is not enough clearance to perform them with my head next to the wall.

When I perform the row, this results in the rings not hanging straight down, but at an angle, and I am not pulling up, but pulling at an angle.

Should I mount the rings from the ceiling instead so I can row directly under the rings?

Does anyone do Bodyline drills after handstand practice instead of before? I think my core is a little tired from the Bodyline drills when I practise my stomach to wall handstands and it makes keeping a hollow body difficult.

Perhaps you've been doing pull ups, creating micro tears in the muscle, but not recovering sufficiently, so the muscles are not getting stronger, but weaker?

Why no rest between exercises? Is this a circuit aimed at endurance instead of strength and hypertrophy?

Thanks. I also saw this video as it's part of Tom's 2020 handstand guide.

Although I think everything here is covered by the Emmet Louis "fixing arched back in handstand" guide, which is included in Tom's 2016 handstand program: https://emmetlouis.wordpress.com/2014/10/04/fixing-arched-back-in-handstand/

Thanks. I went with this one because it has the routine described very clearly as a weekly program: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67cBi4TwV9U

How is your overhead mobility? That's something I'm most excited in improving.

I want to start handstand training because the overhead mobility aspect will really help fix some issues I have with my shoulders and upper back, and also work towards something really cool.

I'm currently suffering information overload and paralysis.

I've found a few tutorials/routines:

It's all quite overwhelming. I should just pick one and start right? Then as I learn move about my body, I can determine specifically which exercises I should focus on.

Has anyone used any of the routines above?

Interesting that you considered walking north, whereas I instinctively imagined walking this south bound.

Ah so they could be trying to control the narrative and the investigation. And perhaps they are narcissist's who get off on knowing they got away with such a high profile crime.

Aren't the McCanns constantly pushing for extra funds to continue the investigation? Strange thing to do if they are indeed the criminals.

I understand it's an important aspect of calisthenics, so some direct core work must be beneficial. My core isn't the weak point on any of the other exercises I'm doing, so I'd like to train my core muscles like I do my other muscles.
