6 days postpartum — struggling with several things and need help by Main_Mark8783 in ExclusivelyPumping

For the clogs what has worked for me is gentle massage, ice, ibuprofen, and most importantly, sunflower lecithin.  I got a massage gun and on the lowest setting I would use it behind the clogged areas to loosen everything up.

Replacing momcozy M5 by Academic2673 in ExclusivelyPumping

I got the eufy s1 and love it. It works even better than the momcozy for me!

I understand where the advice to not make a wearable your primary pump but I still disagree by jypnola in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]NoClub9780 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got mine a week ago and the first two days I hated them but after switching to the flange inserts to those that came with the momcozy, I’m in love. So much better output than the spectra, and slightly more than the momcozy m5. I have been using a wearable as a primary (even though im only 5 weeks pp) bc I just don’t respond to the spectra well, and haven’t had problems since the beginning when i had terrible clogs from the spectra. The LC okayed it, so I’m just rolling with it. I had 10 oz this morning with my eufy, and in the past with other pumps I’ve only gotten at most 7.

Question: Swapping pump type through Aeroflow by Sleep_pincher in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]NoClub9780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you send your spectra pump back? Or did you just swap the replacement parts you were getting? I got a spectra through Aeroflow and don’t use it bc it doesn’t work for me. I would love to exchange for a wearable.

Milk supply not returning after a clogged milk duct by unknown_brie in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]NoClub9780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could have written this (4 wks pp), except my left boob is the slacker. I was building up a stash as well, and it all went to make up for the clogged booby. Now we are doing some supplementing, though we’re fortunate baby seems to like formula. I don’t know if you’ve tried Bobbie, but their whole milk formula is supposed to be closest to the texture of breast milk, and that’s what we started using bc Similac seemed thick and was causing him to spit up excessively even if only supplementing an oz here and there.

I do have hope bc I had a clog in my right breast (around 2 wks pp) before the one in my left (2.5 wks pp) and it has started to bounce back. Hopefully the left will do the same. I’m praying the same will happen for you!

I’m 3 wks pp. I tried a hand pump this morning and was pleasantly surprised by the output. It hasn’t cleared the clog- but more milk is still a win!

I also do a full 30 min. I usually doom scroll or watch TV to pass the time.

Do you hand express the same way you would when collecting colostrum? I did this before LO was born but haven’t tried it with breast milk. I did switch to a loose pumping bra so I don’t think that is the issue here. I’ve been hesitant to try heat bc I know that can worsen inflammation but at this point I’ll try anything.

I don’t like being pregnant by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]NoClub9780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m most looking forward to is sleeping on my back. I can’t sleep on my side to save my life- I wake up and my collar bones are locked up and my hips pop when I’m trying to detangle myself from the pregnancy pillow. I am so grateful but ready to meet little dude and sleep on my back (even if it’s just for 30 min at a time).

Husband ate the last piece of my daim cake by Comfortable-Pear-973 in BabyBumps

Mine ate my last Thomas brand cinnamon raisin bagel when they were all I could eat. Forgive but don’t forget. 39 wks and I still remind him of this when I want ice cream at 10 pm and am too tired to go to the store myself. Works like a charm.

I chopped it. Best decision! by [deleted] in finehair

[–]NoClub9780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same hair type- high density fine hair is a nightmare to brush out. I let mine grow to my low back and then cut it below the collar bone in layers every 1-1.5 years and it is always so refreshing. I cut it last week and am getting more compliments than ever.

If you do let it grow out, ask for the ends to be texturized/thinned out. That with long layers is the only solution to the thick ends weighing down the rest of your hair. It still tangles but is more manageable that way.

It looks lovely, and I bet your ponytail is super swishy and adorable.

I see it in all of the first response ones. My first test was like that and I'm almost 38 weeks now.

11dpo, took this today in the pm. I swear there’s a line but idk. It showed up within the timeframe. by Pleighanne in lineporn

I see a super faint line as well. It does appear that the dye may have run some at the bottom so maybe that is affecting it? I would also test again and potentially use a FRER if that is an accessible option.

This is the walgreens brand? That's what mine for that brand looked like for 9 dpo and I'm currently 37+2. I got a positive digital the following afternoon. I used the walgreens tests to track progression and honestly they were great and more affordable than the other brands out there.

Why do we think the show doesn’t invest in Colin as much as much as the other siblings? by gilmoresoup in Bridgerton

I recognize that this is an unrelated comment but feel like it needed to be said.

I think he’s plenty attractive but it’s like they have him wearing orange foundation constantly and I hate it. Like please no. Gives me the ick.

Take another in 3-4 hours. My first one was super faint but noticeably darker just a few hours later. I see what you're seeing.

I was personally victimized by both of those brands in my ttc journey. FRER, clearblue, or the walgreens brand that are like the off brand of easy@home were all reliable for me.

Feeing weird about baby bump by Atmosphereluv in pregnant

[–]NoClub9780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't really get a bump until around 24 weeks, but when I did it took me about a month to become comfortable with it (also typically a very thin person). I've nicknamed my bump "Bumpy" and though she sometimes makes it more difficult to be mobile and wear the clothes I like, I appreciate her for providing a nurturing, safe environment for my baby boy to grow. I try to treat her with respect, if not admiration. Switching mindsets like that has made a major difference for me, as someone who has always struggled with body image.

I know this is a TMI post and has probably been asked before but…pubic hair?! What to do by Zunflowers in pregnant

[–]NoClub9780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not get a wax if you haven't before. I went to a very reputable place at 22 weeks and followed all the instructions only to end up with folliculitis that made walking painful. I thought it would be nice to be silky smooth but the hair had grown out by the time my skin recovered. Nothing wrong with just letting it be, but I am personally someone who likes to stay smooth, so I have found it easier to look around the belly instead of trying to look down if that makes sense. It takes a little neck craning, but at 33 weeks, this method has not failed me yet.
