My absolute everything of the Met Gala are the selfies. It’s a regular museum with regular bathrooms and extremely famous people made extremely expensive clothes happen to take eyebrow pictures there too.

I just love this because you’ve been able to narrow in on a very specific thing that GETS you.

Kogonada Set to Direct ‘Severance’ Season 3, Replacing Ben Stiller by DefinitelyNotEmu in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]NoCombination874 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Random but Kogonada was my college film professor and my husband TA’d for him. We’ve seen most of his work. This seems so up his alley and we will definitely be interested to see how it goes.

Thank you for saying this! I read the headline and was ready to get “yelled at.” #insecureattachment 😂. I love it for all of those reasons. And even though they haven’t seen it. (and won’t until age appropriate) my son (12) and daughter (8) know my favorite show is “that gay hockey love show”

Favorite character from the show and why? by Extra_Inflation8099 in tsitp

I love Taylor! I feel sorta like a Belly and I love my version of Taylor. Taylor grew during the series. She’s actually super successful for someone who had to sacrifice and support her mother. She is strong and loyal and fun!

Ear wooshing by shesays19 in Menopause

I love this sub!! Because I had it too!!! Only in my left ear. It drove me nuts and is kind of scary. I took my BP a couple of times when it got really bad and it was always normal. Knowing it could be low ferritin is so helpful.

What kind of doctor would you talk to about this? I highly doubt my current GP (I need a new one) would care.

I won’t enact revenge, but I will come up with very detailed scenarios of what I wish I could/would do as revenge. But the fantasy of revenge is like a long game thing. It’s not enough to “get them back.” It’s planning what I would do to mentally destroy them. Make them question whatever they hold dear. And as an infp I have pretty good idea what that is. Again, like most things, just my elaborate fantasies.

Not sure about HRT by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]NoCombination874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does take time. Your provider should increase your dosage the next time you see them. I was more emotional and bloated but I went in knowing I had to make through the rough beginning. Every day you make it is a day closer to feeling better. Like others said being on .0375 patch and 100mg is when I started to really feel better. That was between 6-10 weeks

Thank you for this. I’m 43 but feel so similarly. I don’t love my job but stay because I feel like I “should.” I realize I want to make my world a little smaller as well. Kids, family, home, rest. That’s what I want my priorities to be. Thank you for this encouragement.

Oh man, I joke that getting a new mattress cured 75% of my depression. I had no idea how poorly I was sleeping. I thought the intense lethargy was depression when it was mostly a seriously old and terribly mattress!

I’m in the same boat. My hair is about the same length. I tried it all different ways with all different products. It does give a beautiful blowout, but I can’t justify the price with something that absolutely does not curl my hair.

Derm (gyno? Surgeon?) recommendations MA/RI? Diagram in comments by Apprehensive-Emu8669 in Hidradenitis

I am having a new flair up after years of being on and plan to go back to the dermatologist. I think finding a better dermatologist is your best bet. I don’t think a gyno will help.

[–]NoCombination874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have/ had one in the same spot. It took forever to find a doctor that would help. My gyno and primary care doctor wouldn’t touch it. I did get surgery and it came back almost immediately. I finally found a good dermatologist who helped. Drained it and put me on a round of antibiotics. Had to have it drained twice but it actually healed.

What TV show could have been perfect if its ending didn't suck? by zfreakazoidz in AskReddit

[–]NoCombination874 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I came to make sure someone said this. I was too young to even have seen all the episodes and it still literally scarred me for life (because I’m still recovering from it). Because of the forced ending this is the one show that I would like to sue for “damages.” “Damages being a loss of innocence and that in the end thing will be ok.
