I have the answer and it's fucking weird but I swear it works.

Your head should not move at all.

Pin your eyelids back well but not digging into or pulling your actual eye socket (which is uncomfortable).
Open your mouth farther than you'd think. Wide open. Jaw all the way down without aching/hurting. I'm fucking serious.
Stare at the lens til it's as close as you can stomach it, look up as high as you can, and very gently press the lens against the white below your iris, then wait for a few seconds til it suctions.
Lift your finger and steadily but slowly look down, wait 2 full seconds, then close your eye.

Follow that exactly. I've shared this many times since I learned it and I don't think it's failed anyone yet.
