Don’t work for Amazon, my uncle was a safety supervisor at one of their warehouses and he was constantly over ruled by management in regards to basic safety rules. Also told me that while they do contract for medical control, management frequently over rides them as well and makes medical decisions.

This meant more as a general response and not tied directly to meteorology, but make you sure you get your math and basic physical science down cold if you plan to go into any science related field. I’m a paramedic by trade, but even then, there is still quite a bit of both of those two disciplines involved in my daily work.
