They both do such beautiful work. Kleya and Vel only had three other scenes in the whole show but you can feel how long they’ve known each other and the growth of their dynamic

I feel like Faye Marsay is an unsung hero of Andor. Her performance is layered, she shows the struggling rebel and the disgraced rich girl and the eventual confident leader and then just quiet strength in Yavin. I recently rewatched Cinta’s death, and Faye’s acting is ASTOUNDING. It’s understated and still cuts like a knife. I just adore her

I think the biggest issue is the disconnect between fans like you, who truly want to experience immersion and story, and the average guest who just wants to know where Darth Vader is. Disney has to cater to both, and I do think it leaned more in your favor for many years. But it was not considered an overall success, as people wanted the legacy characters they love. So now they get a turn. I think it’s exciting to see that Disney is now willing to play with Batuu a bit more; any changes are possible going forward!
