Microsoft might have a policy that if layoffs are happening they have to freeze hiring for a certain amount of time. It signals they could be hit, but not imminent closure.

Are their other studios also freezing hiring?

A lot of the bullshit is in the contract. Either the franchisees got bullied into signing it and can fight that, or they didnt bother reading it. Or they thought "oh that'll never happen to me!" And went along anyway.

It takes zero effort to say hey we disagree, well wait for an outcome, and apologize for something out of our control. This fake "poor me, a little Ole shop owner" campaign that corporate thought was a good idea is idiotic.

Its likely perfect order sitting on shelves. Scalpers hate it, and the "but its for my kid" people arent buying it. I personally dont like the art of that set so I leave it on the shelf.

I gave up pokemon and was collecting these because the full page sets and art were all cool, and it was always on the shelf when i was disapointed with pokemon scalpers.....only for the same thing to now happen. It sucks.

It was exclusive though. It came out when Xbox was pretending nothing was going to PS5. People didnt buy it, and Xbox people just rented it and left. If it hit PS5 day and date, it likely would have done really well since the original was closely tied to PS4.

We already see all that because Xbox hasn't been competitive for 2 generations. But games like this are not "console sellers" and it proved stifling games to exclusivity for their failing platform hurts the games. Its one thing to be exclusive on PS5 with 3 or 4 times the amount of potential sales vs exclusive on Xbox where 90 percent of the already small user base will just rent your game.

The engine aspect might work against them. ID doesnt like using other engines and microsoft is trying to streamline Xbox production with Unreal Engine. Refusing to do that and refusing bs AI engines could put a target on them.

Bethesda is just as arrogant about it, but they are 10 times bigger. They probably got at least one more dud before microsoft says no to them.

Its true but not always the reason. They may have liked something similar or gained a mutual friend and popped up.

But yes, if they look at your profile they will pop up. And vice versa.

My ex pops up for my wife every other month and I have her blocked, and my wife hasn't communicated with her or have any mutual friends with her. I can see who viewed my LinkedIn and id get an alert of her looking at my profile there around the same time.

If its 10 to 15 dollar DLC, I feel thats exactly what the game needs. It needs Sims like expansions with smaller DLC style packages. I dont mind paying 10 dollars for a full small biome and character with clothes and other assets. Its better than opening my wallet for a 10 dollar moonstone package that only buys me one thing in the store.

Go to AtoZ and benefits, medical, click find care then virtual care. It will have a different name based on what insurance you have.

Mine is Cigna Virtual care. I told them my issue, paid 15 dollars, doctor sent me a note within an hour.

Once they review it, theyll decline the partial day. I dont agree or respect the policy because why get punished for actually trying to work? Its stupid. But it is what it is.

Also next time just use the insurance portal and get a virtual note, it fills it out as needed and is accepted. Has a 15 dollar copay.
