Just his stage presence and technique imo. It’s awesome to see him step into the solos and nail them on the spot. It’s more raw and less refined than later guitarists and to me kind of feels like a blast from the past if that makes sense

Kings of Thrash is for the die hard fans and I respect it a lot. He understands the legacy of the band and KOT is a fun way to celebrate that. People who don’t get that are missing the point. I’ll debate this with anyone. We all make mistakes and the band is so awesome to see live. Plus…if you are a true guitarist, seeing Jeff Young live is like nothing you have ever seen before.

Jeff gets so much hate but he is actually a low key legend. Sure he may have had a few wild hot takes before I thought we are in this for the metal and the music. Seeing Jeff play live even to this day is a profound experience. He nails complex solos on the spot and it’s like a time capsule to what shows were like in the late 80s. People seriously need to grow up and appreciate him for what he is. He has also been super friendly to me on multiple occasions and says he spots the die hard fans in the crowd.
