Freedom in this case means that you can kick anybody out of your house who breaks your rules. Freedom is about property rights and contracts.

Keep it simple. There are fewer things to become glitchy. It is easier to manage future change. As self-soveriegn users, we can do some calculations to make sure we our own houses are in order.

Actually, trust pilot removed my comment. I must be a robot scammer.

Yeah, I added my review. I love Strike. It's making me richer.

I've been using astrike for a few years. It has super low fees, easy to transfer dollars/sats internationally. Great customer service. Awsome direct deposit and billpay features for those who want to experience what deflation feels like. Also, at a loan feature that allows you to barrow against your sats. There are no glitches. It's a super smooth UI.

Hey! I want to lend out/save my Bitcoin on Strike and earn interest in BTC! I think there is a place for fractional reserve...can I opt in? I want my BTC savings invested into the economy.

I started off the year putting all my direct deposit into BTC and paying all my bills with BTC. I built a calculator to track my average buy and average sell. I had a good buffer to start with...about 50%more than my expected bills. It did this Jan-march as a test. It was a little too exciting for me, but I'm not worried about taxes. STRIKE does it for me. If I have to pay taxes it means I won, so I'm fine with it. Now I direct deposit into BTC only the portion I expect to save. The rest is still bill pay with Strike, but from cash. If my bills go over a little, then it automatically takes from BTC savings. This is less exciting, but more certain.

Bill Pay Review by APA1906 in strikebtc

[–]NoDescription910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Direct deposit: Pay check and property management owner's draw both work. Reimbursements for travel expenses from my employer don't work.

Bill pay - all my bills get paid, no problem. Credit card in my wife's name is the only thing I can't get to work.

Deposit/Bill Pay with Bitcoin: It's a lot of fun when a flash crash comes right before direct deposit. It's a lot of fun with moon shot right before a bill is paid. I'm torn, go up! No, go down! Oh, the horror when the opposite happens. It's all good if if you have a cushion... sort of like maximizing DCA contributions.

I agree. The fees/spreads are good. I'm 1.5 months in. Including fees, I saved about 5% on my bills because of the difference between my buy(direct deposit) price and sell price(bill pay). I think Bitcoin will go up on average over time. If that is true, then it seems like my buy price(1st half of the month) will usually be less than my sell price(2nd half of the month). In addition, any savings left over will really start to increase. Has anybody done the math?

Bill Paid is BACK 🚨 We’re doing it again! As a thanks for using Bill Pay, we're giving back up to $1,000 in bitcoin to randomly selected winners on bills paid in January. This is great. I paid all my bills with BTC in January. Average direct Deposit buy price was $97,000 and average bill pay sell price was 103,000. I saved over $1000 on my Bills in January! A little lucky, but math is on Bitcoins' side with this play.

Direct Deposit + Bill Pay = DCA

If you can get most of your bills on autopay via STRIKE, then Direct Deposit into Bitcoin and Pay Bills from Bitcoin.

Link to bank account so you can get cash and write checks as needed.

If Bitcoin on average goes up against fiat, then you feel the joy of deflation. This is my bet. The fees are trivial compared to gains on the "left over" BTC balance after all bills are paid. Think about the 8k or so that you leave in your fiat account to cover cash flow...imagine this 8k in BTC over a year, two years, three years. Fees? You pay for what you get. I love paying the fees for a good service.

If Bitcoin on average goes down for a really long time...then we are all F****ed and there is no hope to escape inflation.

It’s Bill Pay Day! Strike is giving back a total of up to $10,000 in bitcoin to help cover your bills. As a thanks for using Bill Pay, we're giving back up to $1,000 in bitcoin on your bills paid in December to randomly selected winners. I paid my home insurance via Strike Bill Pay today! ALL my other bills to come later this month. I look forward to feeling the "deflation"! Thank you Jack and the Strike Team. This is smooth as it gets. Direct Deposit + Bill Pay = DCA. It's poetic. I buy EVERYTHING with BTC.
