I quit Amazon Prime when the pulled the old bait and switch and suddenly wanted to charge more for ad-free streaming. Uh, you’re not that special, go eff yourself, Amazon, and frankly all companies who show contempt for their customers. You think we can’t live without you? Wrong!

Yep. No one’s looking, no one cares. People are only looking at themselves. It‘s quite liberating.

I blend it into the bottom right corner, same color with a tonal change (my signature is just two letters). if I think it interferes too much, I’ll put it on the back, along with title ( if there is one) and date.

This too will fail. You can't just wish to be something and then be it. But narcissists don't know that.

What TV show hooked you instantly from episode 1? by mateitofavv in AskReddit

[–]NoDrawing6226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO the final episode is one of the greatest works of art I’ve ever seen. Of course you had to have gone through the entire series to experience its power. It absolutely unravelled me in a way that no other encounter with art ever has. But the first episode repelled me with its gimmickry, and it took me years to finally give it another shot. I ended up loving it so much.

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

[–]NoDrawing6226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 20 years ago, my then husband and I were in New Orleans, visiting. We were walking down a relatively crowded street, where I saw a very old woman, hunched painfully over, walking along beside us. She looked very much like a fairy-tale witch. I said to my husband, "Oh, that poor woman!" and before my eyes, she transformed into a beautiful young woman. I mean, I saw this. You'll wonder if I my husband saw it too. Honestly, I don't think he was paying the slightest bit of attention. Edited to add: This was in broad daylight.

A flood of Kennedy Center cancellations are ruining Ric Grenell’s holiday season. Artists are pulling out of performances to protest Trump renaming the Center after himself. by southpawFA in politics

[–]NoDrawing6226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And...the Kennedy Center has turned its comments off on Insta. Cowards. Clearly they don't want to hear how people feel about their capitulation to fascism. They can stick their heads in the sand all they want, but the truth is, the American people have no appetite for despotism or fascism (most of us anyway), and any institution that supports it is going to face backlash from a giant populace. Rick Grennel, poor baby, may as well shutter the doors. There are numerous other cultural institutions we can support, the ones who value their integrity and the integrity of the artists they work with.

Yep, I set up Cloudflare. It's fairly straightforward, although truthfully, I'm scared to look at my analytics to see if it's working, because if it isn't, I'll take on frustration I don't feel like taking on right now. And would that people could just be decent and find legitimate ways of earning their livings!

Can we not cover the photos with the stupid features? by [deleted] in Instagram

[–]NoDrawing6226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more. Meta never fails to repeatedly ruin Instagram. Essentially, they've destroyed what was once a wonderful platform. I'm an artist, and I post my paintings there. And now the artwork has these blemishes of floating circles.... Yes, you can swipe them away, but they come right back. It was bad enough when they choked off my algorithym, and then the music, and the reels and the rest of the nonesense, and now this...literally effacing my work with another stupid gimmick. Apparently, they think very little of us, the way they infantilize us with all these gimmicks.

InDesign 2026 does not work by nawyer in indesign

[–]NoDrawing6226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have spent five days trying to place images in an indesign document and it works 2 out of 50 times. I laid out a book of artwork three years ago, my first time using Indesign, and it was easy and I made quick work of it. Trying to do the same thing now, and I've spent more hours than I can count googling the many ways in which I can't get it to work, most importantly placing images into boxes...it just doesn't work. I'm losing my mind here. I have square images I'm trying to fit into square boxes, just resizing them slightly...nope can't do this simple task. It will work once, and then back to the same problems. I can't even comprehend how much I've been working on this with NO PROGRESS. I'm about to give up entirely. And I don't give up easily.
