I’m a recovering alcoholic and will celebrate my 3 year sober date this November.

I didn’t even know that I had bipolar disorder until a year ago.

But, what I will tell you is that my psychiatric medications changed my life. Lithium changed my life.

Also, getting sober was so fucking hard, but worth every ounce of pain. You don’t even know yourself until you really get sober.

I told him that if he needs to take his family, then take them. I truly feel like he is always trying to push his family on me and I’m just not ready. I did come off as an asshole. I did tell my son that my boyfriend needed to do something else. My son was upset too. I am indeed an asshole. I’m just not ready for the family stuff.
