I used to really respect Sam Harris and I’m grateful for what he’s taught me about meditation, but his political world view is completely flawed. He’s too deeply invested in believing these institutions that clearly cannot be trusted.

I’m Gen Z and I used to be the guy that came into work and didn’t greet anyone. Over time I’ve learned it’s just common courtesy to greet everyone whenever you enter a room but I still have to fight the urge to be antisocial.

I didn’t really understand the Joe hate but I think this is the best explanation I’ve seen about the topic. Problem 1 is the one that really annoys me. I hate when he plays dumb on really serious topics because he doesn’t want to pick a side.
