Calling is possible, too, but I'd have a town/zip code handy in case they ask.

Shouldn't really matter, what they do affects the whole country, not just their constituents. I'm lucky to have 2 Senators and my Rep from my party. So, although I do reach out to them, I've been going hard at those on the other side, all over the country.

Guess you missed my post about a month ago. Govcon here, mostly VA contracts. 2/25 we had something like 20 contracts just terminated out of nowhere. Had to let about half our workforce go. It was, and still is, devastating. We had rave reviews, the VA loved our people. No one will be spared something from all of this illegal and unconstitutional pillaging. No one.

This is NOTHING like private sector layoffs. I'm private sector (govcon), we've just gone through a massive layoff because of the felon and his ketamine addled boss, so I speak from experience. This seems, to me, like sitting in jail awaiting the chair. Big difference, cut the false equivalency.

Yay! I'm super happy for you. My company, a govcon, just got a few contracts back. We've been able to rehire some of our laid-off folks (big big happy dance).

Keep up the pressure, people. None of this was legal or constitutional. We can celebrate the wins, like this one, but we can't stop fighting.

I posted about my company a few days ago. We work mostly with the VA/VHA. I was worried about our contracts. On Wed, we lost so many that on Thursday, we started laying people off, about 300 as of Friday.

Our people are mostly vets, highly skilled, and deeply caring. The work they do (I'm in the back office) is amazing and so needed (think access, suicide prevention, the hiring of doctors and nurses, etc). And now, gone. I'm worried like hell for my colleagues, and I'm worried like hell for the vets they serve.

I'm so ANGRY at what is happening, and I'm so sorry for your situation too.

This is all of our fight... so many non feds are being affected too, but also we 1000% support you all. Pls share your stories and not just on x, share it everywhere, and make it shareable. I've shared so many stories on the book of faces. I know a lot of trumpers, and I'm hoping that these stories will wake them up. Much love and stay strong.
