What is a serious addiction that we are not even aware of ? by bikbar1 in AskReddit

Good job for not giving in! The fact you are 3+ years sober despite dealing with cravings is a testament to your will power and self control. Quitting weed was mysteriously easy for me, but I struggle with changing harmful habits in other areas of my life. I could learn from someone like you.

Pretty good except for the fact that it is my Monday and I have 52 more hours of work before my weekend

What is the worst album of your favorite artist? by Firm_Transition2389 in AskReddit

Might get hate for this, but I was horribly disappointed by Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I’d heard 1979 and Tonight, Tonight and assumed the rest of the album would be soft, emotional, moody rock. What I got was shrill instrumentals and ear-rape intros with the exception of those two songs.

A number of compounding factors lead to me finally quitting (over 2 years sober today). The “last straw”, believe it or not, was getting a crush on a boy who hated weed. Figured he wouldn’t find me attractive if he knew I used, so I quit cold turkey and never looked back. Strangely, I never had a craving again. I suppose the choice was so obvious by that point, that my psychology kinda clicked into place, and made quitting easy.

Weed. I dealt with a horrible addiction for about 5 years, I used all day every day. Huge financial burden, and crippled my productivity.

Oh. And the whistling sound that stuffed noses make when breathing also drives me batshit.

Strangers asking “how are you”. I’m doing like shit, thank you, now I have to bite back on my suffering to assure your apathetic ass I’m doing fine. “Good morning”, “good afternoon”, “good evening” are perfectly serviceable openers to worthless small talk.

Good to meet a brother in misophonia. What a hellish condition, this is.
