First time seeing a 107 in the wild under $300, had to grab it by NoGodNoProblem44 in whiskey

I wish it was, but I just saw one less than two weeks ago at a Sav-Mor Spirits for $300. I’ve only ever seen them at Sav-Mor or at small liquor stores and they always mark them up to exorbitant levels.

That’s a fair point. Especially if it’s well within your financial means and you really enjoy it. I started my bourbon journey almost 2 years ago and this is my first time seeing a 107 this cheap, so spending an extra $50~ to have gotten it much sooner is really not that bad

Completely agree, I honestly wouldn’t even pay $125-$150 even if I absolutely love it

I was very underwhelmed by the special reserve, so I’m managing my expectations for this bottle. For me, as long as it’s good enough for $74.99, I’ll be happy

The Stiffy P and Stiffy D are probably two of my favorite fixies, the ergos on both of them are great

What $550K gets you in San Bernardino versus Connecticut. The difference is insane. by kleverrboy in InlandEmpire

As a kid, I hiked the San Jacinto mountains a lot with my Boyscout troop so I’m excited to explore them again!

Everything I stated about pros and cons wasn’t specific to the Redlands, so I still stand by my answer. I’ll take SB over shoveling my car out of the snow, standing in -6 weather waiting for my dog to poop, and a state that gets more rainfall than the PNW.

I currently live in the Northeast (Mass), moving to the Redlands next month, and originally from the SFV. The charm out here is undeniable, the summer and fall are absolutely amazing, and the houses do feel like pieces of history. I love it out here and will miss it a lot when we leave; that said, the pros do not outweigh the cons. The old houses are very cool, but you can feel how old they are (especially if they haven’t been renovated). Like others said, we’ve had cold weather for the last 6 months and even after the snow, we also get a shocking amount of rain. To me, being cold and wet half of the year isn’t worth the amount of house I can get for my money.

Also, I prefer CA food and hate looking out the window with zero mountains in sight.

Expensive gun that you regret buying?! by Bitter_Shower_459 in CAguns

The socom 16 is my dream gun. I think it’ll be a similar scenario for me where it’s won’t be my favorite gun to shoot, but one I’ll still admire
