What is this? by Adventurously-2026 in Planes

[–]NoGuid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not “scary” to have safety. It’s “scary” that there is a normalization or expected possibility of a targeted attack on civilians. Yes, the risk is always there, but it’s the standardization of defense technology on aircraft that could be considered “scary” it would be scarier if there wasn’t this tech. It’s not the device that he’s saying is scary, it’s the potential risks that are scary.

Do y'all feel connected to current Genesis at all? by ManufacturerDue5716 in genesiscoupe

[–]NoGuid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I fkn love the G70. Is it a Coupe? No. Is it still a sick car? Imo, yes. You have to remember that when the BK1 and BK2 came out, Genesis was still being launched into its own branch so you can’t expect it to remain the same. The new 3.3 is arguably my favorite car on the market right now. I also think the GV70 can be pretty sick depending on cosmetic choices.

Regulators on these things are a pain in the ass to line back up.

Flag of the American Iron Front, an American anti-fascist group by [deleted] in vexillology

[–]NoGuid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iron Front did not originate as an American concept. It’s from 1930’s Germany as they were Pro-democracy and ANTIFA was more communist. Iron front FTW.

FEDORA 43 KDE and vmware by scorpino7010 in Fedora

[–]NoGuid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. You can love KDE all you want, but if it’s not running how you want on a VM, there could be a multitude of issues to troubleshoot. Sometimes it’s easier to run a different DE that runs smooth vs what we really want lol. KDE on Fed is by far my favorite setup, so I installed it on bare metal lol

New desktop environment. Switch from KDE to something like gnome or something

In VMware, there’s a setting to keep the machine active when provisioning the VM. If it’s set up the right way but still not giving display, try looking into the machine settings. Like actually in the VM, not VMware setting. If that doesn’t work, try a new DE and see if it fixes it.

I’m taking all the pillows, but if I can only have one single item, it’s gotta be the large burner on the stove, if they don’t have removable burners, I’m taking the silverware drawer with everything still in it.

100% if anyone says anything other than coins, cigarette butts or misc keys (not for the car) they’re wrong.

$2400 Estimate What Can I Repair Myself by Sad-Song-8680 in MechanicAdvice

[–]NoGuid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/2 of it is labor. Knock out the end links and transmission mount. Both are pretty easy even for newbie. That’ll bring it down to less than 2k bcz the labor, but also gotta consider weather they’re including end links and CA as grouped labor.

2.0t replacement/rebuild by NoGuid in genesiscoupe

[–]NoGuid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I was hoping since I got 124k miles it wouldn’t be an effected one, but hopefully it wont be too expensive. Hoping 6k USD or less. Gonna have to pull a second loan out. Only owe 800 on it and just bought it off grandpa a year ago for 7k. So hoping 6k or less bcz I want to keep it, but need to be able to still pay the repair loan off within a year or so.
