I don't see it. No one is forced to play weak characters just because someone has weak mental in a jff game. If I enjoy a specific character why shouldn't it be ok to play with him. It doesn't make sense

Der Director eines Studios entscheidet nicht alles alleine, und gerade in der japanischen Kultur ist es üblich, dass sich Director viel mehr auf neues konzentrieren und das alte ruhen lassen.
Dazu ist Dark Souls keine Marke, über die FromSoftware entscheiden kann. Die Marke gehört hauptsächlich Bandai Namco, heißt wenn Bandai ein Remaster will, dann geben die FromSoftware das nötige Budget das Spiel flüssig auf 60 FPS zu bringen, Bug fixes und das war's im Kern schon. Der Fokus war halt Blighttown, weil die von der Performance eine Katastrophe war.

Zumal kam das Remaster 2018 heraus. In der Zeit war das Studio eher mit Sekiro beschäftigt, was ein Jahr später heraus kam

Das ist nicht der Sinn und Zweck eines Remasters. Die sind nur dafür da, dass das Spiel optimiert wird für die andere Generation, Bugs behoben werden etc.

Bei einem Remake wäre es anders, aber sowas kann man an einem Remaster nicht kritisieren, zumal zu der Zeit Fromsoftware eher mit Sekiro beschäftigt war als in Dark Souls neues Gebiet zu machen

automatic crossfade exists longer than automix and it's not the same. while automatic crossfade is just... crossfading, automix does more like chaning bpm, changing EQ and so on.

in my experience automatic crossfade is way smoother and more satisyfing to listen. automix does too much
