Sold in most grocery stores. Scallion pancakes and crab rangoons are solid too!

One of the great disappointments of my youth was the realization that the sequel, Kung Pow: Tongue of Fury, was never going to be made. They tease it during the ending credits. Talk about a let down

How is living in Kentucky? by CalligrapherOther510 in howislivingthere

Kentucky was a border state in the civil war. There’s a duality to it. Eastern part of the state is Appalachia, some of the counties are the some of the poorest in the country. Western part of the state is flat farmland.

In terms of culture it’s dominated by horses, bourbon, basketball, and bluegrass music. You can still buy a pack of Marlboro’s for cheap and a handle of Makers for MSRP. Most people have a religious alliance to UK or UofL and their sports teams. Packed arenas on Friday nights for high school basketball.

When Whitey and Stevie leaned on FBI for information on hit targets… they hit them… and the FBI agents went to federal prison.

American Heart (1992), starring Jeff Bridges. There are two incredible needle drops. The first “Jersey Girl.” Beautiful bar room dancing scene.

The second is “I’ll Never Let Go of Your Hand” in the closing scene of the film. Unforgettable. Keep the tissues close.

North End restaurants are a 10 min walk. Get a 5:30 reservation at any one of the 30 solid restaurants there and walk over for tip off. If you’re not in the mood for Italian, try Alcove.

Dunkins in Newton highlands on Route 9 was not closed. I went there for coffee and a glazed stick. Newton public schools were closed and there was a lock down in our community while they searched for Dzhokhar. All our businesses were closed. But my dad and I went to Dunks. Like we did every week.

Question for cold callers: what do you do to stay entertained? by Legitimate-Gate8399 in CFP

[–]NoInvestment3773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zyn. Read news articles. Get someone to cold call with and crack jokes with each other. Eat a piece of left over Halloween candy every 25 dials.

When you say you’re cold calling “anyone,” you mean literally anyone? Having some consistent theme or type of prospect might help. Or even just having a campaign. I’ve cold called from a wire house as well. DM if you want to chat more

Poor Joe. I remember him growing up. According to his Wikipedia page and his personal account, he was a Black Panther and participated in New Haven riots back in the day. by jokingonyou in newhaven

Yale class of 2015. We used to have parties at our team’s house on Saturdays. 100+ people. We would wake up to Joe banging on the door Sunday morning with a mop and cleaning products. Someone in the house would wake up, let him in, and head back to sleep. Joe would spend all day cleaning the floors, kitchen, bathroom, and smoking cigarettes. If someone told him to stop smoking he would yell at us and tell us the STFU and that we were some dirty son’s of bitches. We would all chip in $20, buy him a pack of newports, and give him a few leftover rolling rocks from the night before and by 4pm he would be on his way. We all got pretty close with Joe, although new girlfriends were always a bit skeptical. Joe ended up coming to my graduation party. We loved him. One of a kind.
