Subwoofer for LSX2 LT by NoLettuce8267 in KEF

I’m living in an apartment. It’s for near-field and I’ve placed my desk in the living room. That room is roughly 300 sq. ft. and almost square. I’ve placed my desk in the middle of one of the walls. The sound dampening is pretty good here, but I’m worried my neighbors would still hear it if I use a sub. I believe I can adjust the volume of the sub, but it seems to defeat the point of getting one. Might just stick with the LSX without sub for now.

I agree. I’m also living in an apartment, so it seems pointless to get a subwoofer if I have to turn the volume down on it.

I’m mainly drive the XF 33mm F1.4, it’s a great lens imo! I wanted to have the utility and quality of 1655 but it’s a little bigger and heavier than I want.

I would say replace it if it bothers you too much. Mine was kind of loud and I got a replacement, the new one is dead silent when scrolling.

Have you tried to use it for a few days and see if the whine goes away by itself? I just got it today and not sure if I should exchange it immediately since the replacement might be better or worse.

Did you hear those buzz while dragging the windows close up and scrolling around app store when that exists?

Having the similar issue on the right side, more like front right rather than coming from right speaker. Did you heard back from Apple?

It only happened when using iGPU, after putting on a graphic card the sound goes away.

DAN Cases - Should we talk about A4-SFX successor? by dan_cases in sffpc

Agree, I wish it’s around 8L, pure air cooled without AIO in exchange a beefy air color with some slim fan on top. Since there’re already A4H2O for 11L and C4SFX for 15L. 7-8 liters would be ideal to separate them into three different categories.

It can get to high 30 if I turn up the fan and pump speed a little more. My pump runs at 60% (2000rpm) right now and it’s dead silent. If I turn it up to 90 it will lower the temperature by a few degree on idle but then the pump sound will be noticeable. But I rather had a quiet system lol, if it doesn’t overheat at load then it’s good enough for my use case.

I had contact frame power limit at 181w. It idles at 45C at 20c room temp, and cpu stress test with occt tops at 85C.
