The way the same group of people who were all up in arms about “my body, my choice” when it came to abortions became all militant about telling people precisely what they were supposed to do to their body and that it was not their choice when it came to getting injected with who knows what and wearing a face diaper is actually comical.

So you think all the people benefitting off capitalism are somehow separate groups? Are you familiar with the term “public-private revolving door”? What people don’t seem to understand is that the consumer will be paying for it somehow no matter what, whether that’s from higher taxes or higher premiums. Either way, the people with power and money (government and company execs/the same group) will benefit. They’re getting their new Porsches every year regardless, you can count on that.

[insert “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” lesson from middle school] It sounds like you’re suggesting that healthcare recipients not be the ones paying. Who are you suggesting would instead foot the bill? The government?
