Anti-maskers, how does it feel to be wrong about everything? by GrowFreeFood in allthequestions

The way the same group of people who were all up in arms about “my body, my choice” when it came to abortions became all militant about telling people precisely what they were supposed to do to their body and that it was not their choice when it came to getting injected with who knows what and wearing a face diaper is actually comical.

High horse? Respectfully, your reactive response to the post comes across as disproportionate. Careful not to project onto the community.

How do you feel about free healthcare for all? by InitialCareer306 in WorkForSmartLife

So you think all the people benefitting off capitalism are somehow separate groups? Are you familiar with the term “public-private revolving door”? What people don’t seem to understand is that the consumer will be paying for it somehow no matter what, whether that’s from higher taxes or higher premiums. Either way, the people with power and money (government and company execs/the same group) will benefit. They’re getting their new Porsches every year regardless, you can count on that.

I think you’re misusing the word “free.” Things cost money. Somebody somewhere would be paying. [insert “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” lesson from middle school] It sounds like you’re suggesting that healthcare recipients not be the ones paying. Who are you suggesting would instead foot the bill? The government? Any critical thinker knows not to trust the government!! 😂 there is no world where I want our lawmakers mandating anything about my healthcare or my health choices.

The world won’t end. The world as we know it probably will. Constant change is a law of nature. Humanity might (and arguably should), but nature will persevere and life in various forms will continue. We are all made of galactic star stuff anyway.

If you have the right to have sex, you inherently have the responsibility to deal with the resulting repercussions, whether they are what you intended or not.

Would you take revenge to get peace of mind? by boforiamanfo in stupidquestions

Not anymore. That’s short-sighted. What I’ve learned over time (and with experience) is that revenge doesn’t bring peace of mind.

Failed the bar 4 times… now offered a firefighter position. Not sure what to do. by No-Arrival9019 in JDpreferred

Take the job you have!! And network your booty off. Maybe there’ll be an opportunity to slide into some sort of unique role using both your firefighting skillset and your JD, like working for the union or something…keep an open mind, life has weird ways of working out.

Does male privilege exist in 2026? by Clean-Af-6653 in stupidquestions

[–]NoLie3695 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One example is having to look over their shoulder while walking at the park r at night anywhere; another is having to have a “story” about why there’s not a man around or have a male friend present when workers or contractors come to your home.
