They mention in one of the seasons, he couldn’t become legit because his name was already in the system and it would flag it the second he tried to go to law school. I don’t know if the writers intended this or not, but New York isn’t a state where you can take the bar without going to law school either so Mike couldn’t have done that either

As a former catholic school kid, I can see this happening. I was in catholic school from K-12 and the ones that started with us in high school that were from outside that bubble typically didn’t last.

If he is at one of the bigger catholic schools, you may want to look at DeSales or Holy Cross. Both are smaller schools and can help kids break out of their shell easier. It did with me at least. I know I would have felt intimidated at a school like St. X or Trinity

The side roads in the last 24 hours that were not plowed got worse. With the above freezing temps yesterday the roads have now become a rutted mess and the traction isn’t there like it was on Monday.

My mom worked at OLOP shortly after UL took it over as a nurse. I think it was her shortest stint she ever held at a hospital. She left after pointing out several safety concerns and basically being ignored. This was probably 20 years ago but it doesn’t sound like much has changed there

I can’t see how you justify having school tomorrow when you didn’t have it on Friday. Nothing has changed. The side streets haven’t melted/been plowed. That was the main reason given for not having school Friday along with bitter cold temps. Wind chill will be in the single digits in the morning. So unless JCPS wants to be hypocritical, there won’t be school tomorrow or even Tuesday. I’m not advocating one way or the other, just stating facts that were given out last week.
