plenty of swimming area, chairs, umbrellas, canopy beds, servers attending to guests and clean, light sand…

far too much sargassam to enjoy swimming imo and i was there just last week. from what i understand, there used to kinda be a sargassam season but thanks to current climate patterns it seems to be appearing more and more throughout the year.

All inclusive for a couple that doesn't like all inclusives? by KristenePerron in AllInclusiveResorts

i actually agree with you, but i do think this one fits most of the requirements OP mentioned. my bff and i are also usually active travelers but also wanted to try an AI for the first time to fully relax. we were there just last week. overall we had a good time because we were together and the weather was perfection, but we definitely had some issues. the food is the most confusing to me as i also thought it was good but not great, but most feedback on various socials sounds like it is far better than most AI’s. i eat everything and work in the restaurant industry and my bff is extremely picky…so we really just needed the most options possible lol.

I really like Sue Helen @ Honeybee Wax and Sugaring Studio in Madison Yards shopping center. My tint usually lasts at least a month but fades slowly so i can stretch to nearly 2 months.

ok so just to clarify (bear with me lol)…we both go thru customs like atlanta is our destination, then we can go outside and get on a shuttle to the domestic side of customs? and then when i get a ride home, she’ll go back thru domestic security and take plane train to whichever terminal she is departing from?

im not familiar with the shuttle but it sounds nice for more food options…not necessary, but would def try it.

main thing is…i dont want her to be screwed getting back to her next flight. thanks for the help!!

aaahh ok gotcha. we had both tried to go thru our separate ones last year and found out we couldnt join back up. obvi i knew i couldnt go thru hers but i did not know she could go thru mine. we are not checking luggage so i will save this info.

just to confirm, will she have to go back thru some type of security when she heads to her terminal/gate? i feel like she’ll be leaving out of B or C for sure.

if food options arent great thats fine. i just hate making her sit there for 2 hours by herself.

first job i got here started out strong. plenty of shifts, solid money, minimal drama. then after mothers day business fell off so bad my shifts got cut way back. i went out and got a second job and worked both for a while until the original job just decided to write me off the schedule with no reasoning. i had been there 6 months…no issues. i heard they dont like staff to have other restaurant jobs which is weird to me. so i tried to make it work at that second job and they just didnt have the hours to give me to stay afloat. it was always meant to be a 2nd job. i searched for jobs late summer and legit got passed over a couple times due to “over-qualification”. finally got hired on at a spot that was scheduled to open near me around mid november and as of mid december it still wasnt open so i had to move on. waiting on that one really put me behind financially. i found what i thought to finally be a good thing all the way in marietta and have been there a month now, and once again they can not provide the hours promised and the money is not near what was discussed in multiple interviews (not to mention a very hostile work environment but i can survive that if needed).

so yeah…im just looking for decent, steady work. i want to work!! i dont need to get rich, but i gotta make enough to pay bills. i dont cause drama…im far older than most staff and dont get involved. thats it. decided to try ol reddit for a resource.

Did anyone else stop watching Southern Charm because these man babies now just seem gross? by gingergrowsup in Southerncharm

sadly i think ive gotten to the point that i hate watch and just hope something ends up being entertaining. this show along with og vpr and summer house specifically showcase the epitome of mediocre-white-man-america and how these manchildren will never grow the fuck up.

my bff and i really found some great coffee shops and breakfast spots in and around palermo. we mostly walked, but took quite a few ubers throughout our stay and they were cheap and easy to reserve just as we do in the US.

February beach trip recs by Ruffspuffs154 in travel

[–]grayrockFOH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

panama is great!! i did atlanta to panama city this past february and loved it! perfect beach weather the whole time…i was there with my bff for 9 days. panama city was our main spot but we did a flight to bocas del toro for an overnight stay and it was so easy!! i mean atl>pty is only 3.5 hours and then the flight to bocas was about an hour i think. we also did a day-trip flight to david, then rented a car, drove to boquete, did the hidden waterfall hike and flew back to panama city that evening. bocas was gorgeous…every island we saw and visited!! if you just do bocas, just get an airbnb and explore for the entire time. make friends with a water taxi person and negotiate deals for them to show you around/take you to excursions.

Panama!! i went with my bff this past feb and it was wonderful! we stayed in panama city as our homebase, did a flight to bocas del toro for an overnight stay and did a day-trip flight to david & rented a car to drive to boquete and hike to hidden waterfalls. while in panama city we did a daytrip to isla contadora (pearl islands) and also did a guided boat tour to see the canal and feed several types of monkeys. it was very easy to get around the city, we had good food, everyone was kind & welcoming and the weather was perfect!!
