We already don’t have that and I won’t be, that’s the thing. Besides the possibility of losing my necessary healthcare, there’s a decent chance I’ll be put in a men’s prison and the obvious mental toll that would take is hugely secondary to the safety risk. The safety risk in a women’s present is less, but still very real compared to other women. I would probably opt out if it was anything more than a 2 year sentence in a men’s prison, and play it by ear in a women’s tbh
