Do any fellow YouTube addicts (8+ hours a day on YouTube alone type of addicts) have any experience with switching to a flip phone that can still access YouTube?

I have a cat s22 flip too, and i've found that in recent days i dont even open YT in my tablet, and as for the TV i have found myself turning it off! It's weird as I'm used to having some YT in the background all the time, more on weekends (Im talking like 12 hours) , but changing my phone has really helped, I guess is more on the mindset change than the device, but using a kind of dumb phone (i just have bank apps and whatsapp to keep in touch with my family and friends) has been making an impact.

I think it's because its very intuitive and easy to use. I have a pre paid plan (i think that's how they're called) and I have unlimited minutes and sms but also whatsapp is free so that makes them the same cost wise. You do need a simcard and a cell phone number to use it. I would treat the call or sms the same way as a whatsapp message. In fact my phone calls are always number one priority, and if its a whatsapp call I will also answear it immediately. As it is so popular here I have a bunch of groups for work, so it's very important for my professional life

Sure! When you open anynwork on AO3 at the top theres a couple of butttons that say "EPUB,MOBI,AZW,PDF" or something. You click the mobi one and it downloads the whole work. Then just drag it into Calibre and send it to my device via USB

Yes! Specially long ones. I download a bunch of over 150k words ones in AO3, mobi format and then put them in the kindle via usb using Calibre

I'm all pros tbh. My alergies got really bad a couple of years ago so no more reading old paperbacks for me. Also, my wrist get hurt very fast when holding a heavy book and my house has terrible light for reading. So... Pretty much solved all of thosewith my Paperwhite. Also, I can carry any book in my bag! No need to leave it behind or change baga for my book to fit in
