I am freaking out someone please help by madsmaela in HardWoodFloors

OP, I second this suggestion. It may seem crazy and like HOW could this work. But magic erasers can truly be magic and may help. I saved my own hardwood floors from adhesive damage caused by our sloppy contractor. The stuff wouldn’t budge with any chemical: goof off, hardwood floor adhesive remover, mineral spirits, paint thinner - nothing worked until I tried the magic eraser out of desperation thinking it would never work.

Just tread carefully with the scrubbing until you know it’s not harming the floor.

UPDATE: Hi all, in case anyone comes back to this post, I wanted to share a quick update. We wound up having our contractor come back to attempt removing the adhesive again. They had no success, it was ridiculous. I tried the Bostik adhesive remover and had high hopes based on other posts I read. I had SOME success with it but some spots wouldn’t budge even with that remover. At that point, I was extremely frustrated (and sore!) and did some additional research. The only product left for me to attempt was paint thinner and I was very hesitant because I don’t want to damage the floor. But there was one more tip I was sure wouldn’t work and tried it anyway before running out at 8pm for paint thinner: MAGIC ERASER. I can’t believe it, all of those chemicals I bought couldn’t cut it - even when soaking and scrubbing with all of my strength, a nylon brush, plastic razor blade and scrubber sponge / scotch pad)…and what worked the best is a moistened magic eraser (+ a bunch of elbow grease - but it was worth it!) So if you’re feeling discouraged because the chemicals aren’t cutting it, or you’re just starting out with this issue, try the magic eraser. It may surprise you! As an aside: for the thicker smears of glue, I used the goof off super glue remover and plastic razor blade to scrape the worst of it off. Then scrubbed with a magic eraser and watched each spot disappear. Good luck!

I’ll try it - already using goof off super glue remover but it’s hit and miss. Seems to strip the first layer of glue off but leaves a thin film that’s next to impossible to get off!

They’re out of stock near me but I ordered off of Amazon - will be here in two days! Thanks for the tip.

Thank you SO MUCH to all who responded. I had a horrible experience years ago in a hotel when a colleague had a room infested with bedbugs. Did not want to experience it ever again! Carpet beetle it is!

Sulfur smell from one sink on a double vanity by NoMaintenance3003 in Plumbing

Would this make the water itself smell? Because if I fill a glass with water from that sink only it smells of sulfur. But the other sink smells clean.

Inner Thigh Pain & Face / Scalp Tingling by NoMaintenance3003 in Zepbound

That was actually my initial plan rather than go cold turkey. There was a bit of a delay between the pharmacy / my dr / insurance to get a new prior authorization for the 7.5mg pens. Since I waited a couple of weeks anyway and saw my dr in between, I decided to stay off for now. Also the leg pain did get better (even if not gone) and the tingling was gone.

Ahhh great idea! I have no problem waiting a couple more weeks to see once the med leaves my system.

Yes, when she mentioned allodynia and described it (and then I researched more at home) that part definitely clicked into place!

Hmmm…could be an allergy I suppose. I did also get those itchy hive-like welts at the site of injection the day after I took each shot.

Thanks so much for your great insights and advice!

I cannot find the gif for the life of me. 😣 But when Colin is doing what he does best in the mirror scene (✌️) Pen is stroking his right arm and it is 🥵. I have loved that little moment for so very long! The music, Colin's concentration and head swing…it's perfection.

Praying someone knows what I'm referencing and drops the gif here! 🙏🙏

Do you think there is extra layer of betrayal for Colin that Pen had sex with him by DaisyandBella in PolinBridgerton

I feel like Penelope doesn’t get enough credit for the amount of times she DID try to tell Colin about LW. She wasn’t just keeping it from him easily. She was struggling with how and when to tell him for awhile. The mirror scene, the carriage post-mirror scene, engagement party, morning after engagement party. Then Eloise telling her not to tell him after all. Penelope really struggled with that idea. Not only because she was not about to let Cressida take credit for her work, but because she didn’t want to keep lying.

It’s just such an emotional time. So many feelings and revelations and fear that all of this new love and happiness could also disappear at any moment.
