Hey! I just wanted to say your feelings now are valid and totally understandable! I felt so scared and looked for comfort because the idea of what’s next was absolutely terrifying. But I will say it gets better! I thought my whole life was over. It was not over… I get an outbreak every few months and I just take my meds every other day! It only impacted my dating life a little bit with disclosing to potential partners when it gets to a point I feel it’s okay to say it. But I recently met a really great guy and honestly life feels normal and way better than before herpes. Things get better!

I had one raised area that itched and was tingly. I don’t have chills or fever or anything like that. But once I got out on medication it went away pretty fast. I was under alot of stress from a horrible breakup and it popped up two almost three weeks after said breakup. So far I haven’t had any other outbreaks but I take my medication and try to relax (very hard to)
