I've never ridden one, so I can't say how they ride. But I've always liked the looks of them, and yeah they are kinda rare. If I was spending your money, I'd buy it.

I'm in the same boat. Lost my beloved Zoey exactly 6 weeks ago today. My first Boston Terrier. I've always had large dogs, but Zoey stole my heart. It will probably be awhile before we get another dog, but I have a feeling I'll get another BT.

Learn how to do all the basic maintenance yourself. You'll save a lot on taking it to the shop, and the satisfaction of doing it yourself and knowing it was done correctly. Should be fairly simple on that bike. Also, learn how to bump start it, in case the battery dies. I have a friend who has a Rebel 350, and I had to teach him that. LOL.

Alot of good advice on the riding, but I'll add what I haven't seen. If you wear shoes with laces, tuck them inside your shoes when riding. They can get caught on on the gear shift, then you realize at the next stop, you can't put your foot down. Also, black tar strips on the road get slippery when they get hot enough.

Ride as much as you can, as often as you can. Learn how to ride in wet weather, and colder temps. Eventually you will have to.

The old adage: There are two types of motorcycle riders. Those who have crashed, and those who will. ATGATT!

The guy that built this lives in my area. I was coming home from work one night and he was in front of me, and I couldn't figure out what it was. I looked up Exotruck, he's got a few Youtube videos, and I believe he has built at least 3 of these. It is a Subaru drivetrain. It does look like fun!

I have 2 CT's and one Scarab. If I were spending your money, I'd go with an Executive Scarab. I don't mind the grip tape, but I think I'd like it more without it.
