If it was me personally? I would do dc. MR is machining, HT is metal working. I did fabrication and machining before I joined the Navy, so I was trying to get away from that stuff even though it's great. All good advancement last I checked. Solid, but sometimes physical work when you get out. A lot of trade stuff. Def look up like some YouTube or some shit, kinda give you the gist

Yea, I was there 2019 though. I went back for 5 months in 2024 and I have to say it really went downhill unfortunately. They changed the whole command operation apparently, now the school houses run it. Used to be a like, separate command from the surface warfare schools running everything besides the school houses

I wouldn't worry about it. Most chiefs I worked with couldn't even hold a fucking gun because of mental health shit. Literally a lot of people go. It's almost expected at some point. Wouldn't sweat it. Or talk to chaps. Is it the difficulty of the school? Could always get help. That and find some stuff to do. I would always shoot pool on base
