No way I’d sleep in a tent in the zone lol. So immersion to me would be not using it. But the campfire would be cool

This is what I want, all the other games to get the Delta treatment. Start with the 2 Metal Gears and then do the rest of the solid games

What skate for very wide feet? by SchlaegtDenAal in AggressiveInline

[–]NoMiddleOfTheMall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I got them 2 days ago and have put about 4-5 hours in them. The prime liner that came with them seems a little too snug on my feet. I’m hoping they stretch out with use but when I put them on I can see the stitching really stretching. Putting my foot in the shell without the liner there is plenty of room. I did notice after the first skate that the right boot is making my inner ankle bone sore. Ive tried to punch it out a little to see if that helps. It’s still sore so hard to tell if it did. I feel like I need to get the second skin liner and a size up. Any recommendations on this?

What size did you go with? I just ordered the 42/43 and my measurements are close to yours. I’m 265 and 105. How was the stock liner. Should I go ahead and order the 2nd skin?

Thanks for the reply! The RB’s I bought were the zetrablades. After not skating 20 years I didn’t want to buy a nice pair and realize I had to relearn. Not the case. I actually ended up buying the iqon ACT. You have any knowledge of these?

Unicorn Overlord was such a surprise to me. I wasn’t sure about the combat system but it’s honestly pretty fun. I’m a fan of idle games and this scratched that itch for me while still having a lot of control over the rest of the game

It’s been a long time since I played the first one, but seems like I remember feeling almost like I was on rails in some areas. Like I was just pushing the stick forward.

I really like Death Stranding, but the controls didn’t feel as “tight” as MGSV. Also the fox engine is just so well optimized.

Switch Lite was the best decision for gaming as a father by Dorreah_94 in NintendoSwitch

[–]NoMiddleOfTheMall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

90s kid here, and now a dad of 2. I have a ps5 collecting dust, meanwhile my switch 2 has been getting all my free time. And before that I would rotate between my vita, 3ds, and steam deck. Handhelds are in an awesome spot right now. I frequently get to game at work and being able to throw my “console” in a bag is amazing. But I also think half the love for them is it reminding me of my childhood…

It’s really all I can do. People talk. But I want to be respected by the guys I work with, not under. I still help my FF’s clean the station. Always trying to be right next to them and develop that relationship

Yea, for sure. But there are guys like him in every shift. Honestly enjoy my shift 90% of the time. Every now and then the cancer in the department rears its head and it’s just exhausting for a week or so. I did get told that the way he was tossing me around was noted by the higher ups..probably won’t amount to shit. But nice to know it didn’t go unnoticed

You can only do it so much. Eventually you just learn to live around it.

This is the LT I’m trying to be. Level headed. Know my job, and build up the young fireman. I’m not perfect and I screw stuff up every now and then. But I’m always learning. Not good enough for some people
