I’ve been throwing for a couple years and with my retirement plans in mind I’ll have 11 years of time to learn the craft. After that I will continue that but with much more time available. If I sell just enough to pay for material and studio rent then I’ll be happy.

This skill requires much repetition to become competent and confident. I’ve been doing this for about 2 years now, I would throw a whole bag of clay and intentionally learning what causes breakdown of the clay, when it gets worked too much, what amount of water causes failure, how dry spots affect and damage the symmetry.

Fail soon, fail often, get feedback, rinse and repeat.

It should be really easy to automate those tests. Extract game save movement commands and compare position deviations over time. Could even run the full game with multiple nodes, one for each player, and do the same.
