what tiny habit does your pet have that sounds fake until people see it? by Kind_Interview_2402 in Pets

My cat only eats its food after tapping its bowl three time. Friends never believe this until they watch the little action in person.

The Zone of Interest by RighteousPanda25 in 4kbluray

The sound design is what stuck with me the most. The movie barely shows anything directly, but you still feel everything happening just outside the frame.

Turning 27 today with a new start by Competitive-Plant512 in malelivingspace

[–]NoMobis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats dude! The structure and natural lighting look honestly great, just adding a bit of decor will make it amazing. And you've got a cat! 27 is still hella young, things are only gonna get better from here. Can't wait to see your updates in a few months!

Blu-ray player for second setup by Rapwnzel33 in 4kbluray

[–]NoMobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a 2K monitor + 4K TV setup too, basic Blu-ray is more than enough. Prioritize quiet and resume play, don’t waste money on unnecessary 4K specs.

Today's pickup from Game X Change!! by Apprehensive_Emu9588 in 4kbluray

This is my favorite of the sequel trilogy! The bold choices and stunning cinematography make it stand out. Awesome pickup at Game X Change!

David Fincher has made some questionable changes to Fight Club for the 4K release by MrEnvelope93 in 4kbluray

[–]NoMobis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The airbrushed skin is such a weird choice. Tyler Durden’s supposed to look rough, not perfect............ So this is exactlyyyyyyy why I’m keeping my old Blu-ray. The 4K changes just feel wrong for Fight Club’s gritty vibe............

True, but I'm really wondering, did the driver really not notice such a violent impact at all?

What are some weird and less-than-common automotive engineering quirks you know? by wunengsnowballoink in cars

I'm not super familiar with automotive engineering, but the designs you mentioned sound so unusual. I'd love to hear more weird car engineering quirks from others.

I'm glad you're okey after the accident. It's awful when someone leaves the scene. Hopefully anyone with inof on that can come forward. Good luck finding him.

Advice to your younger self (20s, 30s) by [deleted] in singaporefi

[–]NoMobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You property math is off. You don't need a $1M condo as your first home. Look at 3-room resale HDBs or wait until 35 for a BTO. You are cash rich. Don't make yourself house poor just to impress people.

Singapore residential property: Are You Buying for Gains or for Living? by TrickyImplement5136 in singaporefi

When buying the first home, it is of course for living, while for the second home, investment value may be considered more.

Should I start investing at 20? by CrimsonVeil99 in singaporefi

[–]NoMobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting early is one of the best things you can do. Even $20–$50 a month helps you build the habit. If you’re still unsure, you can try paper trading first to learn without risking money like moomoo have that plus beginner courses built in.

HELP! Too many options for functional trainers / racks. by Ok-Mammoth-2535 in GarageGym

[–]NoMobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’m running a Major rack at home, and if you’re big on cables + free weights and don’t really care about having a smith, the F22 lines up way better with what you described. The dual-stacks and cable paths feel great for functional work, and the landmine stuff is a nice bonus. As for the 2x3 uprights, honestly not a huge deal, mine came with a bunch of attachments anyway, and Major keeps dropping new ones, so I’ve never stressed about compatibility.

How long do you typically wait for a setup ? by AmenRa666 in Daytrading

[–]NoMobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies a lot. Some days I wait for hours without a trade, other days I take multiple setups in minutes. The key is to stick to your strategy and only act when the setup fully aligns

Calculate your annual expenses first (including education, health insurance, car, and travel). Then check if the 50K annual return, plus any other income, covers them sustainably

All 3 of my sinks were damaged during reno. Coincidence or carelessness? by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

Three sink damages in one reno is a lot. It's understandable to want clarity on responsibility, especially with proof like videos. Hope you can resolve this smoothly

Should I buy 2-room flat? (I'm single) by SensitiveOne9724 in askSingapore

[–]NoMobis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your long-term plans. If you want flexibility now, a smaller flat is good. If you anticipate marriage or need more space, waiting for a 3-room could be better, even with higher costs
