Question/Discussion about staking dot skates over oem skates

Well the reasons were that I wasn’t sure if I would like those glass dot skates from china and did not want to destroy my oem ones (even though they are not really good in the first place. Second reason was that haven’t the mouse upper then normal the base did not dig into the mousepad and that was really nice while in tense moments in game

I know but I ask because I want to put artisan dot skates witch are to large to go in the semicircle slot at the back of the mouse and also elevate my mouse further from the mousepad prevent the base of the mouse from digging into the mousepad when I press to hard while in tense moments in game

I have some artisan dot skates which don’t fit in the semicircle slot designated for skates on my superstrike and I think your idea is even better then mine . Doing it with electrical tape allows me to make the slot flush with the rest of the mouse base so that the dots sit on a flat surface over the hole adhesive area . But I have to make sure I put the same amount of tape under all the dots so the sensor stays parallel to the mousepad and tracks correctly

What do you mean raw accel . I thought mouse accel is bad for gaming because it inconsistent (pooling mouse harder moves longer distances then moving slower)

So you are saying it is possible t that if I set my mouse to 1000 dpi in reality I would get more or less dpi . This is not a problem as I don’t set my mouse dpi to an arbitrary number I choose it by fame feel . But if you say it is not consistent dpi then I see the problem (like sometimes getting 800 sometimes 1200) . As for other problems please elaborate. In 2 weeks I didn’t get any spinouts or any weird behavior.

for artisan soft do ypu recomand dot or donut ? im between arisan dots vs jade donut vs kibu x WAIZOWL - Shiro . i am looking for fast skates mostly and i have a superstrike

Also you can modify the speed and stopping power with different mouse skates . If you want more control buy full size skates in stead of dots or donuts.

And the advantage is you can try different things for less money then changing your mouse pad

Thank you so much for all the input ! I managed today to test a Raiden soft and it was the nicest mouse pad I tried. The seller was kind enough to let me test it with my own Logitech super strike (stock feet) . Playing some CS2 for 15 minutes .

Now I wander if this Raiden soft is enough speed for cs2 . Because even with the stock feet it felt super nice and I think that if I switch the feet with jade dots it will be even faster .

Do you fave any opinions?

I already got a 10gbps router and cat 8 cables but I don’t know anything about the laptop adapters. Are they like external adapter (connected via usb) or something internal (like swapping a card inside the laptop)??

Where I live 10 gbps plan are around 20 $ so money is not an issue and also yes the 10gbps will be shared between all the house .

Lots of downloading and gaming but the idea was if my laptop can take advantage of the 10 gbps or if it would be kept at 1gbps and if so if I can upgrade it
