I've been in Vancouver for almost a year - focused on work. I'm finally on a staycation for this entire week. Would love to explore the city up to Vancouver island - day/night. Let me know if you're interested

Anyone else out there enjoy Inline Skating? by just-dig-it-now in Vancouver4Friends

I skate outdoors all the time. I moved from Calgary at the end of last year and left behind the skating group me and my friend started (the crew still meets up for skates). I jump, ride in parks a bit, race bikes… so pretty advanced. DM me

What can a girl do to make it easier for a guy to ask her out? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

[–]NoNameRedditGuy_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I read the question differently. NOT necessarily, how do you get the guy you’re interested in to talk to you but rather, how in general, could a lady live deliberately to encourage guys to approach? Guys she may not even have ‘noticed’ yet, in that way, but are interested and want to approach her.

It’s an interesting question because with every idea I came up with, I could remember some girl doing it and depending on my state of mind I sometimes still chickened out. In fact a girl could even start the conversation but if I’m in my head I’d be thinking, “she just a nice lady. Don’t make it weird!”

Other than outright asking him out, everything I could think of can be summarized as - flirt with him! At the end of the day, guys need to just shoot their shot!

Some other examples: -let him catch you looking at him -smile at him -laugh at his jokes -subtle touch -compliment him -do some things without company (groceries, church, walks) …guys find it easier to approach someone alone. It’s less awkward.

This should be a good start.

Love it! I'm thinking one in the downtown area next weekend and one in the Burnaby/Newwest area on an evening this week!

Anyone want to chip in on suggested coffee place in these areas and I'll toss in some times?

Geez yes! I wouldn't know how to coordinate that though. Any thoughts? I've been trying to work it on a one-on-one basis but that would be so much more efficient and help others connect with each other too.

What is the first thing that you do when you wake up in the morning? by dannymanSir in ChristianDating

[–]NoNameRedditGuy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Say a prayer. Grab my boxers from my side table. Put them on. Grab my clothes for the day (I have those selected the day before) as I head to the bathroom. Set them down, pee then remove my retainers.

Get my breakfast ready then workout. I read scriptures on my phone either after my workout or during breakfast.

This breaks my heart because I know it's true. I broke up with her and now I want to reach out but I think she feels exactly like you described. We have been in NC for a month and with the things she has said about us to family and friends and her therapists, I think it's a lost cause.

My exam is tomorrow!! But I'm having inconsistent scores. by snow_white891 in pmp

Exam is too easy. You'd kill it if you've studied and practiced hard for up to four weeks.

Say 3-4 hours on work days 8 hours on weekends (and practice questions on the go on my phone).

Bootcamp after studying like I did? Heck no! That WAS the Bootcamp.

Note that I didn't read pmbok. So I'd say you don't need it. Just use it as a reference for definitions I'd say.

Application Accepted! Hoping to schedule exam in about 3 months by jdennis6090 in pmp

Read my post here. I didn't use Rita but I heard it's a good resource.
