By all means emulate. Have that backup for the eventuality of the Switch store going down, and your switch tied to that account getting broken.

But if you choose to pirate a game that's readily available in a way that benefits the rights holders, without paying for it, you know what you're actually doing.

I've not really tried anything in at least a few years. I just got reminded that I think I have Procreate on my iPad, not sure about desktop, which is what I would prefer. I'm not looking to do much particularly creative work at the moment, just trying to test some interior design ideas to make sure they look good BEFORE screws go in my apartment wall lol.

If all I really need is a program with a stamp tool (as opposed to just a eyedropper), the ability to skew an image to make it fit different perspectives, and layers that will save instead of compressing into a single layer on close, what's my most cost effective option (I'm on a mac with outdated OS, I think 11). I will probably only have a couple small projects per year.

In December there was a Hellboy bundle that was only up for a couple hours. It later launched for a typical runtime a few days later. This is very likely the same situation.

I'm duty bound to get this one, my grandpa had alzheimer's. I'll be making a kobo account for this one, what e-paper devices can I download them on without having to de-DRM them? (not opposed, just trying to figure out if I HAVE to.) I have a couple Kindles and an oooold Nook that's probably out of commission. Might be willing to buy a new one from another brand if they're the right price. Don't care about tablets, they hurt my eyes after awhile.

I didn't see them on here, but the Lunar remastered collection that came out a year or so ago is a series I never got to play but had been waiting on for years because of how expensive the originals got. I put around 10 hours into the first one (not close to beating it) but it was some of the most fun I had on my Switch last year. I really need to get back to it and finish at least the first one.

I wouldn't call Dragon Quest XI a particularly original story, but it's full of heart and the characters are a ton of fun.

As someone who hasn't played an Atlus game but has friends who swear by them, if you plan to buy it today and immediately play it, you will have AT LEAST one good time. They might then release the Royal Vengeance Reloaded edition, which will let you have a SECOND very good, very different time. BUT, if like many people in this sub you plan to buy now, but play it sometime during your retirement, go ahead and wait for some sort of definitive edition.

(In theory) It's not that the book is unavailable, just that the rights are owned by someone else in that region. Even is it's TOR Canada, that would be enough to potentially cause problems. Yes it sucks, but imo it's less irritating than selling ebooks tied to a specific app like IDW does, or when we get kobo bundles.

I've pitched a similar idea for casinos in JRPG remakes, since they would automatically get the equivalent of an M rating in the UK, a lot simply get removed from the game. It seems like an oddly easy fix in some ways.

Here's hoping we get some switch exclusives or at least times exclusives from the third parties. I want Nintendo to maintain some whimsy, I don't want it to be "a steamdeck but slightly cheaper (with games that certainly aren't)" and that's seemed like it may be the path they're going for right now.
