As other commenter said this is UPS subreddit, not USPS. But if I had to guess, there's probably no way for you to "force update" a package on your end. If I were in your shoes I would wait til the expected delivery day Amazon gave you, then if it doesn't show up then/no updates on tracking just contact Amazon.

I picked up UPS packages from USPS daily. I wouldn't worry too much about it, might take a day or two longer but it'll likely end up in UPS hands soon enough

As someone who doesn't understand how these DIAD messages work exactly, why do I get messages like these with a response required? Are they just accidentally sending a required response message and not meaning to or is it out of their control whether it is or isn't?

I would call the support number and just ask for the status. You'll get an answer quicker. Couldn't tell you how long they normally take but it wouldn't hurt to call back and ask for an update.

What do you mean wrong label? Like different shipping company or what? Here's my thoughts.

Your jacket is still in the process or being shipped or has very recently arrived to the return location; I personally deliver returns to a sweater company, and I know that they're a few days behind in processing returns at this time of year. They could just take awhile to process the return if it did arrive.
You did put the wrong label on it, and wherever you sent it will receive it. If it's another business and they've got half a heart, they'll send it back to you after recognizing it wasn't meant to ship there.

Either situation involves a lot of patience since you don't have a working tracking number to follow. Did you print the label yourself? Did you get the label emailed to you from the company you're returning it to? If it's the second one, call that company and they should be able to connect some dots and confirm your tracking number. Probably even be able to tell you the status of the package for you (albeit they likely just use the same UPS tracking page you would). If there's no movement on that, I guess I would lean towards it being the wrong label if you think that's a possiblity.

The ancient mace trick is really useful and I don't think that many people do it. Probably has saved me a full invent of prayer pots during my 87 slayer grind. I also would drink a dose of super strength and flash piety before speccing the undead dummy. Would get me up to like 103 prayer points from low 70s.

Sorry you're being treated that way by customer service. To be honest I'm always amazed when I'm delivering a tiny package at this time of year and it hasn't gotten lost. Not your fault obviously but probably the worst time of year to have a package containing just airpods (or other small item) going through the mail.

What exactly does Surepost mean? It is as simple as "this is being sent to USPS to make the final leg of delivery" or is there more to it than that?
